CHAPTER FIVE

Lose your life thrice, you lose your life in real life...

Countless of Henry's words in my mind. I always think about what he says, the way I think about it. It kills me inside. It was like, that my life depended on me to fight at any time in the battlefield.

"You're not alone. I'm here. I can get you out of here... I promise.." he said. He embraced me so tight.

I'm glad that you're my friend Henry. Thankyou. I said in my mind.

I got nervous when I recieve a notice. Henry too. He looked at me and hold my hand.

Everyone got a notice. I saw nervousness in there faces. Some of them relieved they didn't go through the battlefield. We recieve, five man. It's mean, we group ourselves into five.

Henry invited me for one of his team but we don't know who would like to join us on this team. I was about to mention some people out of their but even so they're running towards us.

"Athena, can I team up with you?" a girl asked out of nowhere.

"Can I team up with you too?"

"I know how to play snipers, I know I'm not good like Henry but I swear, I can play well."

I looked pity of them. I felt that they're scared and worried about themselves. I can't find a trustworthy for our team like this. "Just, Henry do something" I said in a low toned voice.

He frown. Oh, great! He doesn't know how to help me either. I was about to speak of them when suddenly, appeared again on us.

"Everybody listen. The goal of this game, the notice that I gave you. A hundred of players will go there and survive. Only one team can win."

"What?"

"So, many of us can die that easily?"

"Did you see your three marks in a right side of your arms?" We looked at our hands. He said was true, we have our marks in our hands.

"So, what?" The boy asked with astonishement.

Ragnarok just smirk. He said. "That's your life. That is your basis when you'll die." Then, he laughed out loud. "Let the game, begins."

There's a voice of a woman suddenly counted backwards from the sky.

Then we transfer on the plane. It is like a telepathy or teleport from the basement to another. What kind of game is this?

On the plane. We already have a team. There name is Suji, Khen, and Lazu.

"On your mic so we can communicate with each other." I said. They bowed at me. However, Lazu is in the bad mood. He didn't even care in what I said.

"Ignore him Athena, we can win against the hundreds of people out there without him."—Khen.

I think, there's something wrong with them. I don't want to asked anymore. It might be personal.

Henry marked a place where we can dive. When we were about to jump. Suji, is afraid of heights.

"Jump now, Suji." —Lazu.

"I–I can't..." She hold her parachutes tight and slowly step backwards.

Lazu don't care about Suji's feelings. Instead of, to comfort her. He Jump first to the battlefield.

"I–I'm so sorry," she started to cry. Even so, Khen comfort her. Then, they jump together.

"Let's go?" I looked at Henry. He look so calm and here I am, looking great but my knee shaking out of my nervousness. Thank goodness, Henry holds my hand to calm my veins.

I do, inhale and exhale for three times. Before, I jump.

I saw, Henry jump after me. I use parachutes to land in the house. The three of our teammates are far from us. I'm in the house in the hill. Henry's in fifty meters ahead of me.

I diot. I said in my mind. I saw an enemy in the other house where I land.

"Careful, Yena," he said.

I loot a gun then bullets. Luckily, I found a backpack. Ak–47, ammo bullet, 4x (times 4) tactical scope and a one first aid kit. Why I'm so lucky?

I placed my AK–47 in the window. I wait for him to pass by.

And I wasn't wrong. I hit him. But, he ran away.

"We can get our points, if we win a game. We got a plenty of points if we're the only survivors and win the game,"—Henry.

"What about, if we lose?"

"We also got a points but not plenty. We got twenty to forty points plus lose one of our lives every lose."

"Is our enemy, is one of us?"

He didn't reply. But, he zipped his mouth in silent it mean, yes. "How ever,you can get a five hundred points if you can kill an enemy, plus winning the game, plus five hundred points of bieng an MVP." he said.

I ran after him. He hasn't gone far yet. I need to kill him.

"Don't Yena, let's go to the safe zone, our teams are coming because the virus is already here. We don't have enough loot."

Instead of listening to what he said. I ignore him. I want a points. I want to be an MVP.

I ran as fast as I can. Until, I found myself near in the site. We're the signals are in. There's so many tank, then a gun to loot with a bullets I found level three backpack, bandages, 8x (times 8) telescope.

I give it to Henry. He will be glad.

I was about to loot some bandages, when someone fire me in a long range.

Shit!

The enemy got ahead of me. I weakened my thigh. It hit me in my breast. I can't breath.

"Need back up," I think. I lost my breath here. The enemy is still here and trying to hit me. I hid myself into a pile of wood out side of the house.
