Chapter Twenty Two – A Wedding Surprise.
Woof stood nervously at the bottom of the aisle in the small church that was packed full of friends and those he classed as family, side by side with Jessica's family that were a little snobbish, totally the opposite of Jess herself.
He was dressed in his number one uniform. His shoes were highly polished so that the toe caps reflected the light from above, rows of medals adorned his chest. Kermit stood alongside him, along with Tank, Cigs and Stan dressed in a black morning suit. Normally, Stan would feel uncomfortable, the only one without a uniform, but this was not his first rodeo, and knowing Haley accepted him as he was, helped him to not give it a second thought.
