Ezekiel AlexanderThe moon goddess cursed me. Not only did I have to wait for my mate to be born, I had to wait for her to turn twenty and when she eventually did, she turned out to be feisty.

She ran away from our wedding just before I could mark her. Being cursed to fall deeply in love with her, the moon goddess made me vulnerable and in order to survive, I had to keep her close. Very close.

Ariel Harvey

Running? It has always been my favourite thing. And one thing about me running was the fact I'd make sure not to be caught. Well, that was until I ran from my wedding.

Ezekiel chased me for six years and and just when I thought I could put an end to him once and for all, I ran into him at a bar. I could no longer outrun him and while he was bent on making me go through hell just like I had done to him for the past five years, I realized he wasn't who people said he was.

The supernatural existed and he led a group called werewolves who were extremely loyal to him. I also found out he was something they called an Alpha. A true Alpha. Will Ezekiel succeed in keeping his secrets from her? And will she leave him just like she has always wanted or will she stay?

You Have A Human Mate
The enormous hall inside the massive cathedral church was way too quiet as ten minutes had passed without the arrival of the bride. Guests kept glancing at the entrance of the church piqued with curiosity. In the middle of this, was a handsome figure clad in a midnight black tuxedo who had his dark eyes narrowed coldly. His right hand man who was right behind him kept glancing at his phone every now and then. Not of nervousness, but watching a tiny dot moving on his phone map. The dot was moving really fast and there was no doubt whoever it was tracking was on a moving vehicle. A middle-aged drunken man stumbled forward, reeking of alcohol. One could see the fear in his eyes as he fell in front of the man in midnight tuxedo. He parted his lips a couple of times but was unable to utter any word. Another man, clad in an expensive suit, came forward. His eyebrows were perked up arrogantly as he stopped in front of the man. "Mr. Alexander, your bride is nowhere to be found. And from my speculation and the recent heists she has been pulling, she has taken the opportunity to run away just like she has always dreamed about." The man spoke. His words caused the crowd to gasp in shock. However, none of the guests dared to be too loud about it. "But—" the middle-aged man dressed in an expensive suit continued. He glanced behind him and a beautiful young girl quickly walked up to him, placing her palm in his outstretched palm, "To save your face, the family and I have decided to let my daughter, Amy Harvey, marry you in place of your original bride." Judging from the man's tone, it looked like he was bargaining with this young man. A look of contempt flashed past the young man's eyes as he coldly looked down at Amy Harvey and her father, Nicholas Harvey. They had quickly forgotten their family only became rich because this billionaire fell in love with one of their daughters. "Ariel Harvey, my bride and the daughter of Armando Harvey will forever remain my bride! Unless she winds up dead, she'll forever remain my bride!" For seven years, since the young business tycoon and multi-billionaire, Ezekiel Alexander set his eyes on a thirteen-year-old Ariel Harvey, the daughter of a drunkard but had grown to a fine young woman, he had vowed to marry her. However, the little girl was the stubborn type, always going against everything he wanted. She refused to be held down by a man. Hence, when she learnt that her father had gotten into one of Alexander's traps by borrowing a huge amount of money from the billionaire, she knew she was done for. And just like she expected, Ezekiel had proposed marriage to her and the preparation had begun as soon as he did. They were ready to wed in a week. However, when no one was looking, she took it upon herself to escape from her hotel room leaving everyone scared and perplexed. The last thing a man wanted was being stood up on his wedding day and Ezekiel Alexander was no exception. yet this 20-year-old had done it so perfectly. Ezekiel clenched his jaws tightly as he directed his eyes at Armando who had fallen asleep in the altar. Having the man imprisoned wouldn't make Ariel return. He had long known the little girl had a heart of stone. Retrieving his eyes, he walked out of the cathedral, leaving Amy in tears. As soon as he got out, he drove out in his Bentley, leaving a trail of dust for those who rushed after him. He arrived at one of his villas and carelessly parked his car outside. "I didn't expect to find you drinking." A man said, appearing on the doorway. Ezekiel chuckled, his dark eyes squinting in amusement. "I've always known my life with Ariel would be a very interesting one." "Just let her go, brother. She stood you up and ran off. It serves to show a lot. You can always find another girl who'd appeal to you." The man in the doorway said, walking in. "I've lived for 27 years and it's a shame no one has ever appealed to me like she has. And besides, why should I bother just because we couldn't hold a church wedding?" Ezekiel asked rhetorically, his lips curling up in amusement. "Ezekiel..." The other man trailed off, "What did you do?" Ezekiel shrugged and took up his phone. He stared at the red dot which was now moving slowly. "Since she wants to run, I'll give her things to run from. Unfortunately for her, she's now Ariel Ezekiel in the eyes of the law." "Of course!" The other man suddenly scoffed and walked into the room. "It's her, isn't she?" Ezekiel said nothing as he drank more. "When did you find out a human turned out to be your mate?" "Don't push it, Elijah." Ezekiel warned, not sparing the man a glance. "You found out seven years ago which is why you've been unnecessarily close to her. As your punishment for what you did more than three decades ago, the moon goddess cursed you. Now your emotions towards her can't be controlled which is why you've been so tolerant of her all these years!" "I said, don't push it, Elijah!" Ezekiel exploded, the bottle in his hand shattering due to the force he exerted on it.
