18 March 1691, Friday Is there a God, I wonder? Is there someone high above us, looking down, deciding if we go to Heaven or Hell? Is there some Intelligent Being? Some Thing, bigger than we could ever understand, mere humans that we are? For all my book learning, I do not know. Where does belief come from? Do we have belief because there truly is a God and we struggle to make sense of Him? Is belief merely passed down, one generation to the next, because our ancestors decided there must be some Supernatural reason for Life and Death and everything in between?
