“OH MY GOD SCARLETT!” I yell as I launch myself at her. I pull her into a tight squeeze and I feel her sobbing happy tears in my ear. “I’m so happy for you.” I rock us side to side in happiness.
“Thank you Belle.” She says softly in my ear and I pull back and look into her watery eyes. My best friend is getting married!
“Congratulations bro.” Carter says to Adrian as they shake hands and bro hug. I narrow my eyes at him.
“You knew, didn’t you?” I ask him.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Let’s go inside and celebrate.” He says avoiding my gaze as he leads us all back into his apartment.
Scarlett and I sit next to each other in the lounge room as Carter and Adrian head into the kitchen to get a bottle of champagne and four glasses.
