Chapter 8: The daughter of his enemy

Lucian was seen inside his chamber with a feather ink scribing some words on a scroll. As the alpha of the Wolfsbury pack, he has a lot of duties to carry out, which makes him not have enough time for himself.

But as he writes, the image of the fearless woman keeps appearing in his head. For the past five years, he hasn't met any woman that took his interest just like that woman from last night after he lost his mate.

He doesn't know what these feelings are but he can tell that she filled some lope holes in his heart last night and, for the first time after five years she replaced some sections of his mate in his heart she might not have totally filled his broken heart but he was able to get his s****l satisfaction from her.

Last night he couldn't hold back he wanted more from her he just didn't f*ck her last night No, rather he makes love to her he was able to c*m more than twice unlike when he f*ck other ladies just to feed his rod with the need of the woman organ.

"Get off my head!' Lucian bangs his hand loudly on the table beside him like a crazy person. He groaned and placed his hand on his forehead as the image of Binaca kept flooding his head. He hates it that he can't control himself from thinking about her just like it was many years ago when he first met his late mate before she was killed. Those were the same feelings he is getting and his wolf won't stop howling in his head and getting attracted to her.

But that can be true Lucian thought. The last thing he ever wanted was another mate. He loved Aria, his late mate so much and didn't want anyone to replace her in his heart. Before such a thing will happen he will have to kill whoever is meant to take her place. Aria is his first love and will forever be his only love.

"Snap out of it Lucian, she can never be your mate. Never!" Lucian encouraged himself; he picked up his pen and rolled out another scroll before scribing on it this he used in getting himself busy and putting his mind in place.

Lucian paused what he was doing when a soft knock came on his door "Yes who is there?" He asked using his alpha voice while still in the same position.

"My Lord it is me, Aaron." His beta answered from outside.

"Come in," Lucian ordered and immediately the door jerk opened followed by the silent footsteps of Aaron.

"Have my mother agreed?" Lucian asked, immediately he felt the presence of his beta in the room; he didn't move or turn to face him; his posture from behind looked rigid and composed.

"Yes my Lord madam has changed the marriage and now it's between Arthur and Barbara just like she has stated earlier and the message has gotten to the Smith family."

"Good," Lucian mumbled. He was thinking of changing the marriage between himself and Binaca, the woman he spent last night with but along the way he changed his mind, getting married to someone he was attracted to at first sight doesn't sit well with him. She might take the place of his first love which he doesn't want to happen.

"But there's a problem." His beta spoke, making the atmosphere suddenly become hot and uncomfortable.

"What is it, Aaron?" Lucian asked him, his back still facing him and he had this same cold look on his face that no one can seem to break through or confront.

After he lost his mate in the cold hand of a deadly wolf hunter and an enemy Lucian has gone back into his shell and he became a shadow of himself when he hasn't gotten himself another wife gossip started spreading through the entire kingdom that he is a gay and he is the caused of his mate death since he is always seen with his beta Aaron who hasn't found his mate yet also.

To clear the image of the family name and bring back the happy and cheerful son of many years back his mother decided to set an arranged marriage with the daughter of the Smith family which he now refused to get married to.

Aaron took a deep breath before he continued "The Smith family has also changed the marriage to be between Bianca and your twin brother Arthur."

On hearing those words Lucina gripped on the scroll tightened with anger flushing through his veil the thought of crushing and strangling anything nearby filled his thoughts so he did. He hit his fist angrily on the table pouring out all his anger on it.

"Are you okay Alpha?" Aaron asked him when he noticed the strange reaction from him.

Lucian tried his best and stable his breath inhaling and exhaling when he realized that his beta had noticed his anger. He couldn't let his anger take control else so many things would go wrong.

He was also confused about why he reacted this way. He just can't control the hatred that surged through him on hearing that the woman he spent last night with will be getting married to his brother. The same brother that seems more like an outcast which many people don't know about.

This shouldn't be something personal right? But he just can't help it. He found it annoying and threatened that his brother would be taking what he found peace in.

Yes, he found peace in the woman last night. That is the fact which he is trying not to accept.

He had asked his mother to change the marriage to be between his brother and her sister so he could take his time and study her before taking her in as his s*x slave. He knew it wouldn't be easy to make the daughter of the Smith family his s*x slave but he has been thinking and plotting out better ideas to achieve this goal.

He likes her in his bed for s*x not affectionately.

"We have to stop the marriage, it must not happen, she can't get married to my brother," Lucian ordered this time his body was calm and he had regained his composure as he dipped the feather in his hand inside the ink and he continued writing on the scroll.

"But my Lord, how can that be possible? Should the Barrington family stop the marriage the Smith family will use it against us and our pack will be labeled as impudence and conny."

"Then I will be getting married to her instead of my brother. I will be the groom of Binaca Smith."

Even if he hates the fact of getting married to her, he just has to do it. He have to heal he needed someone to satisfy his s****l desire and she seems to be the only one to fit in that position. After many years of s****l torture and letting her go now will make him a fool.

He is not marrying her for love or any other reason order than using her to satisfy his s****l desire now that he found her he can't let her go.

"But I am sorry to say this, my Lord…" Aaron paused and took in a deep breath getting scared of the next news he is about to drop if he is not careful enough this might be the end of him or the end of the innocent woman.

"Speak on Aaron and if you have nothing else to say you can leave."

"You shouldn't be getting married to her my Lord," Aaron said again, clearing the lump in his throat while Lucian just remained silent waiting for him to state his reason. "She isn't the daughter of the Smith family."

Lucian chuckled lightly and tsk slowly. He paused for a while taking his eyes off what he was writing and after allowing silence to spread throughout the entire room for a while he finally spoke.

"I know you don't want me to marry the young maiden but stop spitting out such absurd words from your mouth."

"I am very serious Lucian, she is not their biological daughter."

On hearing his beta calls him by his name Lucian knew that something is not right just like he has said. Suddenly he paused what he was doing and slowly turned to face Aaron for the first time.

After scrutinizing him for a while he finally speaks. "Go on, whose daughter is she?"

"She is the daughter of an enemy."

Lucian still doesn't get it straight to where his beta is heading. He knows he has many enemies but he is only after the life of a particular one that killed his wife and unborn child.

"She is the daughter of Alfonso, the same man that killed your mate whom you have been searching for for the past five years."

"What!" Lucina's brow furrowed.

"I became suspicious on why the Smith family would send their daughter to be checked by my Lord family when they knew that the person to checked their daughter might be a gardener or cleaner so I decided to carry out my investigation and I was able to find out a secret that she was adopted by the Smith family when she was still a little girl after the death of her mother."

Lucian finds it hard to believe what he just heard and yet the desire for vengeance flew through his body. The desire to havoc war and pull the young maiden into an everlasting agony for the sin of her father flowed through every living cell in his body.

He is known for war.

He is called a ruthless Alpha king.

And his second name is the alpha of war.

Whosoever he showed his wrath won't last or survive it.

He shows no mercy to the weak and now the ruthless beast in him has been awoken. He made a promise the day he lost his pregnant mate that he will destroy and kill everyone associated with her death, even their grandchildren will live to suffer for it.

Now dinner for destruction has been severed in a platter of gold which a young maiden shall eat.

"Stop the marriage between her and my brother no matter what I must get married to her." Lucina order.

"But my Lord she is the daughter of the enemy."

"The more reason why I should get married to her," Lucina smirked, a small smile curved at the side of his lips when the image of her small body clouded his thoughts. She do be easy to break and destroy and she won't even be enough.

"But…"

"I must get married to her and make sure it is kept a secret that I am the groom for that day." Lucian stood up from his seat and he walked towards the door while Aaron followed him behind.

Smiling to himself and smoothing his clothes he whispered "I have to start preparing to welcome my bride. "Bianca Alfonso I will destroy you," Lucian growled.

How interesting will it feel when she realizes that her husband will be her worst nightmare.

Lucian thought inwardly and smiled to himself.
