I ran straight into the girl’s bathroom, crying in one of the stalls until my eyes were almost to the point of swollen shut. Talking to Dylan was a lot harder than I could have imagined in my head. I knew it would be hard, but I never thought it would be so damn heartbreaking. A few girls had come into the bathroom, snickering when they heard someone in the stall crying. One thing that I’ve learned about school, even in college, was that girls were ruthless. They were sharks, and they would strike if they smelt blood in the water. I thought that I might have gained a few more friends in my time here, but girls were so hard to try and get along with.
