Prince Lear is browsing the stands in the market. He is looking for something nice to catch his eye and he will have a present for Katherine when he sees her again. He can’t allow himself to doubt even for a moment. He will find her, he will see with his own eyes that she is unharmed and maybe he can even bring her home again. Hope is all he has right now and he’s not giving it up. He glances at Trey over at the stand with his friend’s wife. They are in an argument as it seems and he hopes it all goes well for them. The woman seems to be angry, but Trey asked him to stay out of it and not interfere.
“You see something you like?” The older woman behind the stand asks him.
“A few things, actually.” He answers. “I have to decide what my sister would like the most.”
