SEVEN YEARS LATER.

1280 Words
Seven years passed, and I was done with high school, while my sister was just beginning high school. I found someone I could love with all my heart and that appeared to be my classmate, Alpha Ethan. He made me forget about them, healed my broken heart, and showered me with love and attention. We loved each other so much and did nearly everything together. He became the love of my life, became the love I desired so much in him, and he was perfect. I stood up the instant the alarm rang up, signaling the lesson to be stopped. I took my bag and left the classroom, waving at my classmates as everyone set to go home. Not everyone was going home, though. Some were going to parties, strip clubs, and sneaking off to their boyfriend’s homes while fabricating a story to their parent’s that they were having a sleepover at their friend’s house. While I was the odd one, I didn’t worry or anything, but I kept my life simple. As long as I had someone I loved already, no need to think of Griffith and the others. They were all in the past now; I bet they will ever remember some poor drenched rat called Ramona. I took a walk across the hallway, walking downstairs, when I saw some high-school dude and a guy making out. I pretended to fix my eyeglasses and walk ahead, knowing my driver must be waiting for me outside the school gates. I didn’t want to be involved in any awkward situation or be the target of a bully. Everyone was ready to get their d**k sucked in either, as far as they could get it sucked. I sometimes think this world is such a mess, but who am I to judge, anyway? It was their life, for f**k’s sake. I was a different person now, a different being and the daughter of a Lycan, a king, and one of the most powerful alphas in the Mackenzie clan and the ten realms. My name is Tayla Jaehaera, I changed my name and discovered my identity as an Alpha. As soon as my mom divorced my father and got married to a Lycan, a strong Alpha with a good background from the realms changed our lives. He claimed to love my mother and adopted Claire and me into his kingdom. We turned out to be the best of the best, a perfect family, but he was a monster. On a fateful day, on a full moon, I bumped into all of them, my friends, who cut off all contact with me for years and discovered they were all my mates. I had seven mates. Never in a million years did I ever think I would be a mate to all of them. Except for Lucy, because she was dating Tyler and I rejected everyone except for Stefan, who claimed to love and agreed to accept me but not after enduring the pain. I believed him and accepted him as my mate, but after a couple of days, I never heard from Makear and Harald again. They both disappeared after the full moon. Ethan broke up with me and never crossed paths with me ever again since the minute he heard of Stefan bonding with me. I was heartbroken, but I was with Stefan, and he was my mate. I can’t reject my mate. He was the only one who truly loved me for who I was than anyone else. Our relationship went on for three years with love and excitement, but I missed Ethan. Little did I know my life was about to go down and turn into a mess. I was done with my hectic workout, stinking with sweat and dirt all over my body, and felt a bit aggravated at how hot my body was, with the weather being so superheater it was really burning my skin. I wish I had rubbed some sunscreen on before going into that kind of heated place. I hastily walked along the hallway, nearly to my chambers with my bodyguards behind me, so I could get a nice cold bath. I needed to get into the bathtub, pull off my black singlet and joggers, pour cold water on my body so fast to rinse this mud off me, soak myself in ice and feel myself again. I wish I had done the workout in a more secluded area, instead of out in the field and if father hadn’t suggested it, I wouldn’t have gone there and damn, the coach guiding me was too strict. I sighed for the thousandth time when I came across Ryan, blocking my path. I stopped and looked at him, wondering what made his expression darkened the instant he saw me. “Ryan.” I called, and he came closer to me. I took a step back, away from him. He was scaring me. Why was he behaving this way and why was he staring at me like that? “Break up with Stefan immediately.” His words baffled me. Another voice interrupted me and remarked. “Tell her the f*****g truth, man, that Stefan’s having a wedding right now, and stop beating about the bush.” My eyes widened when I heard those words. I looked behind Ryan and Griffith was leaning towards the white pillar with the boot in his right leg raised backward as it rested on it. He moved away from it and walked up to us with a frown. “Why are you informing her now? He’s getting married as we speak,” He went on. “What’s going on here?” I whispered, imagining the worst of anything my brain could process and think of. “You don’t have to spill the milk so fast. Can’t you see what you are doing?” Ryan yelled at Griffith. “I told you to let me handle this.” “You are not handling it, the way I want you to do this, go straight to the point and stop acting like a p***y, dipshit.” “Don’t you dare interrupt me?” He glared at him and stepped forward. “What are you gonna do, how are you gonna fix the f*****g problem, man? Our best friend is getting married to her best friend and you are saying you f*****g can fix this? Why are you informing her now when you knew it was going to happen in the first place, you knew about his plans about getting married to her and the fact you kept this secret from us all, it’s f*****g pissing me off.” “That’s why I’m f*****g telling her. Maybe they can fix the problem, fix whatever is going on with them. I learned about his affair, but I never knew it was this serious and it will go to the extent of them getting married to each other.” “You learned about it and kept it a secret when he was cheating on her. What kind of man, a sort of Alpha, are you?” Ryan stressed his words with a scoff. “I didn’t want to get involved in their relationship since Stefan knew what he was doing was wrong. He’s not a child, man, who doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong.” “f**k you and your facts, Ryan. Do it then. Do whatever you want. I don’t give a damn. I’m going to teach him a lesson for doing this to her. She doesn’t deserve such embarrassment.” “What is going on here?” I repeated darkly with a lump in my throat.
