ANDREW’S POV

It was as if the doors were opened to let the fresh air in and she seemed unaware that I was staring at her. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and her scent just made me want to jump up and just devour her. I was staring right at her from the moment she walked through the doors and I was captivated by her instantly and yet it seemed to take a little while for her to pick my scent. When she did she went around the room searching for me while I just followed her because I wanted to admire her from a distance before I made my move. She looked around the room and she suddenly came to a stop, she turned around and I almost bumped into her. For a while, we stood there lost in each other’s eyes and I stared at her blue eyes completely smitten with her.

But then she did something unexpected. One of her eyes turned violet while the other remained blue and she kind of looked like she was about to throw up. She ran out of the ballroom and I followed her outside into the forest where we were far from anyone’s eyes, once we were outside, she ripped off her clothes like she was in excruciating pain and turned into the most beautiful snow-white wolf that I had ever seen. As if speaking directly to me, I found myself experiencing a pain that I hadn't felt in a long time, and then I found myself standing on fours. For a second, I looked down at my paws as if I had forgotten how to use them. This was unbelievable, I had almost given up on my wolf coming back, and yet here I was tonight on all fours. She stared at me as I stared at her feeling overcome by a sense of gratitude. Something told me that she was the reason why I had found my wolf again today.

She suddenly ran off and I followed her deeper into the forest, I soon caught up with her and I had to reduce my speed a little bit so that I could run at the same pace as her. If she was the reason I had to wait this long to get my wolf back, then she was worth it. I couldn’t imagine myself having this experience with anyone else but her.

she suddenly turned back into her human form and she covered her beautiful body with her hands and my heart jumped for joy. I could tell just by the way that she was reacting that she was a pure one. I quickly ran behind some bushes and picked some long leaves with my mouth and dropped them in front of her. She picked them up and covered herself with them. Of course, they were not big enough to completely cover her or to hold together, but with the way she was holding on to them, there was just no way that they were going to fall. I decided to hide behind the same bushes so that I wouldn't make her uncomfortable with my nakedness and scare her away. After I had turned, I returned to her with my privates covered with the big leaves that were from the same tree.

“Hi,” I said as I sat next to her on the ground.

“The moon is so beautiful tonight” she commented, her eyes glued on the moon and I looked up and then back at her. I silently thanked the moon goddess for giving her to me on such a perfect night. The moon was a little red as if drenched in blood and I could see the beauty she was seeing in it myself.

“It can never match your beauty, my princess,” I said and she blushed. “what is your name?” I asked her and she finally turned and looked at me.

“My name is Lana,” she said holding out her soft hand and I kissed it. I could never describe the feeling that I got from simply touching her. It was as if sparks were flying inside my body and all around me.

“ My name is Andrew,” I said and she laughed lightly.

“Don't be silly, of course I know who you are. Everybody knows who you are” she said.

“No, they don’t they know who I was, they know who I am right now as I sit with you right now,” I said

“And who are you?” she asked me

“I am your mate,” I said as I slowly leaned in for a kiss. Kissing her was even more weakening. I held her face and pulled her closer as I deepened the kiss with a hunger that seemed like it had never been fulfilled until now.

“ You know today was my first time,” she said after she broke the kiss. “it was my first-time turning and I think you were the cause of that,” she said

“Tonight was also my first” I confessed. “ Well, it wasn’t exactly my first but it was my first in a very long time,” I said

“I had almost given up on my wolf and I was afraid I would soon have to give up the throne,” I said sadly

“I am glad we found each other tonight,” she said and I kissed her forehead

“No, I am glad I found you…” I said with relief “you saved me” I said

“We saved each other,” she said as she held on to me, forgetting the leaves that she was using to hide her body and our bodies were stuck together like perfect pieces of a puzzle.

She was the one that I had been searching for and for a moment there, I had forgotten about Dahlia.
