LANA’S POV
For the next couple of days, Andrew had eased his leash on me and I felt like I could breathe with ease. I understood where his concern was stemming from but what I didn’t understand was why he was acting like his former girlfriend was the deadliest woman alive. I mean I understood that jealousy could be deadly but I didn’t think that that woman would or could do anything to me. However, it wasn’t like I knew her enough to say that she wouldn’t try anything and that was the reason why I took this training so seriously, as much as Andrew wasn’t ready to face this truth, I knew that he wasn’t always going to be around to protect me. I had to learn to defend myself and the only way to do that was if I took this training very seriously and if I dedicated myself to it
