LANA’S POV
As I rode in the carriage with the alpha king sitting opposite me and Andrew sitting next to me, I couldn't help feeling very uncomfortable. I kind of wished Andrew had come in his carriage, then I wouldn't have to face this awkward situation. The alpha king did try his best to make me feel comfortable around him by cracking jokes here and there, but all he did by doing that was making me feel even more uncomfortable because I couldn't laugh. However, I did have to be grateful for the fact that he was making an effort to make me feel a little more comfortable. By the end of the journey to the packhouse, he had admitted that he was out of his league and that the Luna was the one who was well equipped to perform the task of making me feel a little more comfortable.
