Jason's P.O.V

Can it be ? Lily? Can she really be the chosen one? I know that necklace its in all the books.

I noticed it when I was chocking Aaron. As soon as I stared at it, it burned Lily.

These feelings, the pulling sensation, the pull I feel towards her, could it be?

Could lily be my fated mate?

Why can't I say anything to her? We have been sitting out the front of her house for 10 minutes.

We could be doing something else that don't involve talking.

Stop it Jason snap out of it. I cant help but notice her skirt, her long tanned legs and how her shirt

Suddenly, there's a knock on my window there standing crossed armed, where

not only Lily's mum but my parents as well, Embarrassment washes over my face.

"I've got the kettle on. Why don't you and Lily come in and have a chat with us?"

We make our way towards towards the kitchen table.

"So Aaron called us and told us what happened. You could have killed your own

Suddenly, I felt a tingly sensation on my face. My eyes looked into Lily's She was holding my face, staring into

"What happened?" I start to panic.

Lily's P.O.V

I could feel his anger, His eyes were changing the need to calm him to protect came crashing down on me without thinking. I took his hands, I needed to calm him down.

I could feel his pulse slowing down. I could feel a sense of calmness washing over him.

down. I could hear our parents trying to talk to us but concentrated on calming down Jason.

"I don't know what is happening??? but earlier my necklace burnt me and I dont know why, but just now I felt the need to calm him down." I place my hands over where the necklace burnt me.

"I saw your necklace today. It was a weird colour, then it burnt you" Jason managed to get out, not breaking his concentration on tracing circles on my hand.

My mind kept going back to what my mother said Mating ritual??? What is going on my mother has basically given Jason permission to have s*x with me??

"Mum, can I see you alone please", mum agrees and follows me into my room.

"Mating ritual?? Really mum?" i could barley comprehend what was happening.

"Yes, for us to stay here, he needs to be strong to

Jason and his family had started to clean and fix the place. Jason turns and stares right into my eyes.

"Lily!! Jason!!" I turned to look at our parents and noticed that Jason and I were breathing heavily.

"So when do we start the ritual" my mother asks.

His mother jumps in. "Well, the full moon is in 5 days im sure we can organise everyone to be here by then" With everyone agreeing, we decided on a day and where.

"How are Lily's monthly cycles going?"i turn to stare at Jasons mother, i could tell my cheeks were flaring up.

"umm heat??" I ask, but no one pays attention.

The days come and go, Jason and his family have invited us to stay at their mansion. We moved

in a day ago. Jason and I have yet to finish the mating part, agreeing to do it the night before,

Much to the dislike of our parents.

It is now 2 days until the ritual. Everyone's RSVP are all back agreeing and excited about the news, everything is ready to go.

I haven't been going to school. I can't show my face there after what happened. Aaron came around and
