Chapter 2   Elliot and Caleb faithfully followed the same routine in order to get to the first step towards their dream. They went to school, studied hard, and took the exam months after the start of their senior year in high school. At the beginning of the next year, they finally received the result by mail. Both of their families were excited for them. Their parents even planned a secret party to celebrate their passing. They're confident that their children will. That day, Elliot and Caleb sat in the living room of the Jatura residence. Even Logan was invited. "Just in case I didn't pass. He can comfort me." Elliot reasoned when he brought the dog inside. Both of them are sitting and holding a dark blue colored envelope. The parents are hiding in the kitchen spying on them. "On three, we open it." Elliot suggested. Caleb nodded. Nervously. "One...two...three!" Two of them had eyes widened after scanning through their respective letter. And then they frowned. And then they cried. And then they bawled their eyes out while sobbing loudly. The four figures appeared from the kitchen and began comforting the two kids. Based on what they saw, they deduced that the kids didn't get in. They comforted the two 18 year olds and assured them that it's okay and that they still have a chance to study in a different school. Elliot and Caleb were hiding their mischievous smile until they counted again. "One... two... three! We got in!!!" "You little-- " Violet fumed and started chasing her son for the little stunt he played. She was already crying because she really thought Elliot failed. "And here I thought my baby boy will never find a rich girl!!! You almost gave me a heart attack!" "Gyahahaha! Mom! It was Caleb's idea!" The gazes of the other four people in the room followed the mother and son's 'catch me if you can game' inside the house, around the couches in the living room precisely. Logan even joined in along with his happy barks. The others laughed along. "Alright, honey. That's enough. You'll never catch him, anyway." Alex gestured his wife to sit. "Alright. Let's have the party now. Congratulations, kids." Karl told his son and Elliot who's now panting but still hiding from his mother.         A couple of months had passed since the two best friends received their acceptance letters from Bella Terra. Both of them graduated on top of their class at a local school. Elliot and Caleb live less than an hour away from Bella Terra University. They opted to live in their homes once they start the semester. "It's been months and i still can't get over it!!!" Caleb still gets into celebratory mode from time to time. "I'm gonna be studying in an elite school, Elliot!!!" Elliot chuckled as he walked around his room. He had been tidying it but Caleb had been making a lot of mess, lost in his daydream, grabbing things in Elliot's room and then putting them somewhere else. "Cal!" "What?" Elliot held out his huge chocolate brown bear stuffed toy. "How could you do this? He's supposed to be there in my bed, not on the floor." "Oops!" "Stop day dreaming and help me. The semester starts next week already. Get over your excitement. I'm pretty sure you're only excited because of one thing. Other than the degree you're getting." Elliot pointed a finger on his best friend's nose. Caleb blushed and nodded. His dimples even showed how happy he was. "Tsk. You better not ditch me in school once you hook up with him." "What~~ I'll never do that." Caleb replied, sweetly but not confident of himself. Elliot's eyes widened. "Oh, gad. You are gonna ditch me!" "No, I won't." "Yes, you will." "Okay... Probably." "Hey!" Elliot threw the stuffed toy to his friend. "What? I was being honest." Caleb put the bear back on Elliot's bed. Little did the two friends know that once they enter their university, everything will be a roller coaster ride for both of them. Their peaceful life with their family and the dogs they take care for will soon be turned 180° by a group of handsome, rich, and powerful boys of Bella Terra university.       Inside the Kreepoli mansion pool house. Zayne Kreepoli is sitting, one leg across the other in front of his friend, Grayden Thongayu. They're playing chess. They just finished playing Texas Hold'em Poker with Keith and Bohdi but the other two are now outside, Basking in the sun by the poolside. Grayden raised a brow when Zayne moved his queen again. "You're being aggressive today. Did something happen?" Zayne scoffed. "Something always happens. Check." Grayden smiled. He can never beat Zayne in chess even when he's distracted. He made a move, sacrificing another major piece to protect the king. "Check." Zayne went after it anyway. Grayden just smiled thinly again. He'll lose no matter what. He's never taken his defeat too deeply though. Win or lose, he's satisfied since he gave his all and he didn't take the game too lightly. He's a calm and gentle person. Reasonable of all of the four of them. His nature was probably taught and adapted from his grandfather, an old fashioned politician and ex-prime minister of the country. The one who raised him after his parents died in plane crash. Zayne is the opposite of Grayden although they are the closest among the four of them. He's hot-tempered. He's impatient. He's the most arrogant of all of them. He believes that there's nothing money can't buy. As the second child of the Kreepoli chairman, he's been spoiled a little too much since he was a child. Keith Khamson is another friend. He's not as calm as Grayden but not as arrogant as Zayne. He's the mediator when the four of them have a little argument over little stuff. Keith is known as the university Casanova. He once lost his first love to his brother which made him start playing around. Bohdi Phromli is the epitome of a bad boy. He plays around and picks up fights when he feels like it. He's the one who enables Zayne and his bullying antics. Rumor has it that his family is connected to the mafia. It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine given the secrecy of the nature of his family's business. "So? What's going on?" Grayden asked his friend after he lost the match. Zayne leaned against the back rest of the couch. "P'Irene told me that the school had accepted two graduates from a lowly high school. And they're getting into the medical department." "Isn't that good? They were able to pass the most difficult admissions." Grayden replied nonchalantly. Zayne scoffed again. "We'll see about that. They passed. But will they be able to stay?" "Who's they?" Bohdi asked while wiping his hair with a towel after getting inside with Kim. They just finished swimming. Grayden gave him a quick glance then turned away. Bohdi is only wearing a purple skimpy swim trunks. "New students." Grayden answered while tidying the chess pieces back into its case. "Poor ones." Zayne added. Keith rolled his eyes after seeing the sparkle in Bohdi' eyes. "No. Don't even think about it." He knows that the sparkle means Bohdi is up to something. Helping Zayne bully some poor students. __________________________________
