I open my eyes the next morning to Brad nuzzling my neck. f**k, this is hot.
"Good morning, baby girl." He kisses me as I slowly convince my eyes to open. I am not a morning person. I have never been. I look at him to gauge if he is in the mood for a quick f**k.
"Get up, sleepyhead we have a breakfast date today." He smiles but pulls me in for a kiss again. I am all wet down there by the time he pulls back, gasping for air.
Mornings like this! I could get used to being woken up like this! My happiness is short-lived. He chuckles, smacks my butt once and goes to get ready. Sheesh! So disappointing!
Forty minutes later, I run downstairs and find Brad, waiting by our car for me.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, I couldn't find my anklet." I spring up to kiss his cheek.
He just rolls his eyes, in a good way, if I may, and gets inside our car. He is thankfully not annoyed. I like to dress up. I love clothes, makeup, shoes and bags. I cannot leave my house until I know I am looking absolutely ravishing.
I get inside the car quickly not wanting to keep my husband waiting for me any longer.
"Brad? I ask as he starts driving.
"Yes, baby?"
"You slept early last night and you did not work in the morning. You sure you want to for breakfast?" I ask. Brad is working on some presentation that he has to submit at work in a week. He is so worked up these days that it is not even funny! He is working for like 18 hours a day for the past month.
"Yes, Sarah, you are more important. Plus, I have been so caught up with work lately that we have hardly been able to spend time together. I miss us going out together. I miss spending time with you." He says and squeezes my hand.
He then smiles at me. I smile harder.
"I love you."
"I love you more."
We stop by the breakfast place we have been coming to ever since we had started dating almost three years ago.
