An hour later, I finally manage to get up and change into my PJs and go downstairs for dinner. I see Brad sitting on the dining table with Dad, mum, and Mike. Why did I assume that he would have left? I quietly am about to turn around to go back to my room when Mike notices me.
“You’re finally here! Mum has made all your favorite dishes tonight.” He gets up and pulls me to the chair beside him, sitting me directly in front of Brad.
