Chapter 11

Valerie felt so bad from hearing Alex call kind beast.

She hates that word 'Beast', Especially when it is been referred to her kind.

Alex just took her down memory lane, when her father told her stories about their history and how they protected humans from other bloodthirsty immortals.

In her father's story, many werewolves got into battle with other immortals for the sake of humans.

They got bruised, injured and many were killed all because they were protecting humans, but all the gratitude they could get from humans is calling them beast till the point they revolted against the werewolves and asked for their own world.

The werewolves grew to love humans, but the bad eggs amongst the werewolves kept giving bad impressions about them by going out to secretly hunt for humans.

Though, those who did this evil act, were brought to book and punished and some got killed, but the humans were still not satisfied.

These stories got Valerie enraged, she wanted to kill all humans for taking them for granted after all they did for them.

Alex calling her kind beast sparked up the dead flames of anger she has for humans.

They were mixed emotions going through her mind, this emotions couldn't be controlled as most of it were overshadowed by rage, anger and disappointment.

"My kind are not beast, Alex, please take back your words."she said angrily to alex in an authoritative manner.

"Maybe you're different, but the rest if you are, I'm sorry if I used that word, but sadly that is what your kind are."

Alex said confidently, he wasn't even ready to think of Valerie's crumbling ego which he was destroying.

Valerie mood was gradually changing from one who was helplessly in love to a very enraged being.

Her anger and frustration could be felt even by Alex, but he refused to be intimidated by that.

"Take back your words, Alex."

Valerie said in deep anger, Alex wasn't giving in to her equest as he kept on sighting instances were he nearly got killed j by a werewolf and how they have killed some if his friends.

"Did you know I lost a relative who just came here for the syca plant. He absolutely did nothing to your kind, but he was still killed for no reason. And you say you're no beast. Valerie, sorry but, most of you are."

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but that is the truth."

Alex said what he felt was the truth.

Valerie's rage kept on building up at that point.

"You weakling, to think I fell in love with one, your kind are the beast, ungrateful beast."

Her rage began to wake her wolf side as her eyes turned yellow, her canines grew long and her fingers grew longer too.

The rage was helping in turning her to a werewolf, this can make her kill anyone at the slightest provocation.

She moved closer to Alex in a manner to attack him.

Alex stood still at his position waiting for anything that may come his way.

"You don't want me to call your kind beast, but here you're trying to kill me."

He said feeling very disappointed in everything that has happened.

"I think I need to take my leave right now, and also, I wished I never met you."

"This love can never happen, it is from the pit of hell."

Alex said as he moved out of the room.

Valerie realizing how far she went with her aggression, got hold of her temper, ran after Alex.

"Alex, we can work things, please don't leave yet, I'm sorry for trying to kill you, I didn't mean to, I'm really sorry Alex."

She cried out to Alex who was about leaving her house.

"It was really nice meeting you, and I do really love you Valerie and if situation were different I'd have taken things further."

"But I can't anymore, we're not destined for each other, goodbye Valerie."

Alex said while he was about opening the door to leave.

"Alex please, don't leave please!" Valerie cried as he leaves.

While she was inside crying she could feel her ego crushing before her, no man had ever treated and made her feel this way.

She couldn't accept the fact that she has been rejected by a human.

Immediately, she ran after Alex.

"Alex!" Valerie screamed out his name.

He was outside, on hearing her, he became afraid a little, thinking Valerie was going to reveal his real identity to the public.

"I curse the day I met you, don't you ever come back."

She said this in a lot of anger and pain from Alex leaving her.

"You could still come back right now if you want, but if you go now make sure I don't ever see you again."

She said, as walked back into her house banging door behind her, as she fell to her knees in tears of pain and heartbreak.

Alex also felt a lot of pain inside of him, he wished things were different between them

"Why do we have such a twisted fate, why did it all have to go this way?" Alex thought to himself as he began to cry too on his way to the portal.

The both of them were in great pain, this couldn't die so easily, for days they thought a lot of things, their feelings, the impossibility of their relationship, any solution outside changing from one kind to the other.

Valerie thought of this the most, knowing she went too far with her aggression towards Alex.

She felt guilty, she was trying to prove a point that they are not the beast, yet, she went on to attack him.

Alex, also felt he was a bit too harsh on her, he wished he had talked more with her, maybe, there might other solutions to their problems.

Suddenly, Valerie came up with a beautiful plan.

Though she had told Alex never to see her, meaning things were over between them, she still hasn't given up on Alex.

She knows she is a fighter that fights for whatever she wants, just like she has plans to kill Richard and will not give up anytime soon, so she will fight for her love for Alex.

Her plans were simple, she wants to singlehandedly eliminate all the human hunters, and blood seekers and creating a unified world where both kinds can exist without fear of the other.

She knows this will be a very difficult task, but is sure to carry it out, all for Alex.
