He grabbed her by the hands turned her around until her back was against his chest, then grabbing her by the waist and retrieving the sword from her.
"Did you come to kill me or to see me, which of it?"
Richard whispered in her ears.
Valerie had to be very cautious with her words now or may never see it out of the barrow's mansion alive.
She knew she has been made helpless, words to turn away Richard from suspecting her true intentions were not coming forth as she stood close to Richard.
"I just got frustrated that you didn't come to find me after that day, I've really missed Richard."
Now the best lie yet found its way out of Valerie mouth, she has to put this on him or get suspected by Richard.
"I missed you so much Richard, pulling that sword was just a guise in hiding my frustration"
Valerie acted so well with her lies as she began to look sober.
Making Richard unsuspecting of her true intentions was her utmost concern at the moment.
She moved away from and headed out as though Richard was not bothered about her feelings.
"You don't even love me the way you say it, how can you suspect that I want to kill you."
"I waited for you to call or find me, but you didn't, it's not fair Richard, it's not."
Valerie said, she began to cry putting more pressure and guilt on Richard
Richard couldn't understand the drama at some point, what he could only take out was she also wanted him the way he wanted her.
"Oh, Valerie! Not my fault, I've been so busy."
Richard replied, he really felt sorry for not checking on her.
Valerie's emotional blackmail was playing out nicely, she has to continue to completely pull off Richard's suspicion.
"That is not how to treat your mate or bride to be"
Valerie said still sobbing at a corner.
"I never thought you liked me that much."
"I promise, I'll always reach out... In fact, if you don't mind, you can come live with me here"
Richard went closer to her to comfort her.
She came closer this time, almost at the point of kissing him.
"Promise, you'll always find me, please don't let me miss you so much"
Valerie stared into his eyes saying those words, the look she gave were so lustful and intense.
Any man could do anything if asked with those eyes of Valerie, Richard too, couldn't help it as his heart raced so fast with those looks.
Valerie knew she was already getting into Richards head, this had made him very vulnerable, but yet, not the opportunity she was looking for.
She understood at the moment, in getting Richard to his weakest point, she has to make Richard have a lot of confidence and trust in her.
"Just wait a little more, let him get drawn to you. Just a little more time"
Valerie thought to herself. Being patient with her love game with Richard is what she has to deal with.
Accepting her reality and remembering what Anglo said about men like Richard, it'll be a rough ride, but she must get wish done, it's only a matter of time.
Richard couldn't help but kiss her so passionately and intense while carrying her by the butts to his bedroom.
On getting there, he wanted to do things quickly, but Valerie stopped him.
"Please, we're moving too fast, let's stop"
Pulling away from Richard, Valerie said.
"Oh! Come on, don't spoil the fun, you want this too"
Richard said in desperation, he wanted to have a taste of her body so bad.
Valerie knew this was working out well but very fast.
She doesn't want to be his s*x slave, she knew if she gives in there will be no going back on his constant demand for s*x.
Like Anglo emphasized, she has to make him beg for it, that, will give her more authority and power over him.
"I really do want you too, but, we're going to fast"
Valerie said as she moves out of the room grabbing Richard by his hands and pulling him out of his room.
Richard controlls a pack of seven most feared wolves in the kingdom with him inclusive.
They are known for taking down alphas, betas, omegas, deltas and other werewolves that gets on there nerve.
His pack is most dangerous at full moon, they go on killing spree, you don't want to annoy them especially on full moon.
Luca, one of his men and his second in command and was known to be an omega before he joined forces with Richard.
Luca came to visit Richard.
He came along with another member of the pack, Michael, who seems to be a very jovial type.
Michael is also a chronic womanizer, but not as arrogant and egoistic as Richard is.
Luca and Michael were at the sitting room being welcomed by Richard's dad, Barrow, when Valerie and Richard walked in.
"There iswhom we're having been looking, turns out he was with a lady after all."
Luca said on seeing Richard and Valerie.
"Who is the beautiful one Richard, is she the one you said you met at the bonfire?"
"She is damn sexy."
Michael said, he also recieved a little smack on his face from Richard for making such comments about his woman.
"You p***y, this is my woman, get your eyes off her okay"
Richard sat close to them after talking to Michael, he also beckoned on Valerie to sit close to him.
"This is my mate and bride to be, Valerie. Valerie these are Luca and Michael, they part of my pack"
Richard introduced the both parties.
After the introduction was made, there was a sudden change of expression in Luca's face.
"Luca, you don't seem alright, what could be the problem."
Richard asked.
" Antonio's pack are at it again."
Luca got angry and tensed at the same time, same was the expression on Richard's face.
Antonio is a rival pack who has threatened the very existence of Richard and his pack. They do all in their power to kill and destroy Richard's pack.
Valerie was asked to leave the room while they had their private discussion.
Valerie looked interested in such conversation, she could find a way of killing Richard she could get to know more about the Antonio.
But unfortunately she has to leave, she just had to, to avoid Richard's suspicion of her.
While she stayed away at the gallery, she thought of how to get to know who this Antonio could be.
Though she had plans of killing Richard herself, but teaming up with the said Antonio isn't a bad idea either.
"Most sexy, you're here all by yourself, how rude of Richard to keep a lady all by herself."
Michael could be heard from the entrance of the gallery as he walks in, close to Valerie.
"You shouldn't be here, isn't that conversation important to you too?"
Valerie asked.
"Oh! That... Umm... I just left for the restroom, coming back and seeing here by yourself, I decided to keep you a little company."
Michael said with a warm smile on his face.
He wasn't looking bad, in fact, he is also very handsome and possesses an athletic body.
He had beautiful brown eyes, with his very silky black hair.
Valerie admired him, but that was just it she felt nothing for him.
"What is it really about, are you guys in danger?"
Valerie asked pretending to be worried, just to make Michael spill some information.
"Not really, Richard is going to be fine."
Michael said as he continued talking.
"You see, Luca is Richard's second in command in our pack, they are talking about a lot, though It concerns me. But mine is to carry out there decision."
"Richard will definitely be okay, he knows how to solve issues like this very well"
Valerie started to like Michael as he might be useful in carrying out her plans.
She noticed, Michael also, has started having feelings for her.
"All to my benefit, you will be a good tool in achieving all my desires."
Valerie thought to herself while Michael was still speaking.
"I think I have to go now, before Richard thinks I'm hitting on his girl."
"This is my card, please call me."
Michael gave his complimentary card to her as he leaves the gallery.
Few days later. Valerie went to visit Michael
"Oh! You came, welcome Valerie what would you like to have?"
Michael said happily as he welcomed Valerie in his office.
Valerie had paid a friendly visit, this was simple, gather all important informations that will be useful to you.
"I will be fine with whatever you can offer me."
Valerie replied.
Other than him being a tool for her, she liked his personality than Richard's.
He wasn't too cocky and arrogant as Richard could be.
He was too friendly and calm.
"So, how is it going with that Antonio."
Valerie asked she sips the tea offered to her.
"Well, we have that all sorted out already."
He said confidently.
"All we needed to do was finished off his pack, then, he became powerless. He ran off to the woods as a lone wolf"
This information wasn't helping, but she had to take things slow to avoid suspicion.
"So, how is my Richard doing."
Valerie asked.
"Great, he is doing great. You should know that better"
Michael answered.
"Is that why you came, you could have asked Richard yourself."
