Evans was the first to reach the doors, swinging it open with force. Ashley ran up behind me as I reached him, we stopped suddenly to take in the scene in front of us.
Our Lycans came from every direction, fighting wolves that were attacking our pack. They were coming out from the trees on either side of the packhouse. The women were screaming, children crying and running helplessly to find their parents.
Evans turns back and begins pushing us back in the door "please, stay in here, I've got to go help, lock the door and do not open it for anyone" he ordered. With that, he turns and runs across the grass disappearing from our sight. I couldn't help but notice how big all the Lycans were, compared to the wolves attacking us.
