Jumping from my window, I landed firmly on my feet. I start to sprint as fast as I could across the grass heading straight into the forest. I knew if I could make it around the path that Ashley and I had walked last week there is a turning to the road. Remembering Ashley's words` if you head down there straight through the trees, it will bring you out on the main road heading straight into town.` knowing my escape is by foot not being able to drive I presumed this would be my best way of making it to town.
