Aeris’s pov
The sky was covered with partial clouds and there was a chance it might rain soon. I could smell the rain in the air. It was a talk to later but my exhaustion could only be drained by the amazing weather. When I got distracted, Caspina attacked me with his sword and I dodged it without batting an eye. Taking deeper breaths, we were both breathless from the intensive training he gave.
All this time, I was so delusional about my skills that I knew most of them until Caspian wanted to help me. There were different techniques he taught me during sword fighting and hunting I had never seen my father using before. Maybe the cultural differences and traditions being followed, every kingdom had its own specialty. The thought of living with him in his kingdom gave me goosebumps.
