Alys’s POV
Jayden is staring at her as one would when encountering a dangerous wild animal. She can almost see the invisible shield being raised, with warning alarms going absolutely crazy. Which is odd because Alys would not really be capable of hurting anyone. If anything, she had been the one hurting all these years and it’s really quite unfair that he’s looking at her like that.
As if she was the one who wronged him.
