“Are you serious? You want to do a picture of me?” “Man, you gotta be kidding. I ain’t no model.” “Uh-uh, no way. Someone sees that and they tell my folks…” Those were a few of the reactions Ryan received on Wednesday, his second day out looking for subjects for his drawings. He was asking permission from people, as he had the previous day. He figured he probably didn’t have to, but they were on the street for a reason.
