chapter two

we drove in silence to the red sun pack. The drive to the pack was a five hours journey and I was completely exhausted. " we're here" declared the driver. alpha Dominique got out of the car and I followed suit. The red sun pack house was way more bigger and beautiful than what I had imagined. we walked in to the pack compound and all eyes were on me. " is she not Francis nevara, the wolf that didn't turn" said a random girl walking past us " look at her red eyes, she definitely is" said the other girl "the things they say about her scent is true" whispered another guy "yeah she does smell weird" I suddenly felt small. all my life I had been getting talked about like I wasn't in the room because I was different. The fact that no one knew who my father was and I also had strangely coloured eyes, didn't help at all. I was weak and helpless unlike other wolves. I could never be good enough to be alpha Dominique Sullivan's mate. "baby!" came a loud excited squeal A tall red head ran towards alpha Dominique Sullivan and wrapped her arms around him. " awww I've missed you so much baby" she said happily. she kissed him on the lips and I felt my heart get physically stabbed. "Georgina this is not the time and place" said alpha Dominique Sullivan coldly. she looked upset at his remark but still have him a toothy grin. " who is this?" she asked, suddenly noticing my presence. "she is none of your business Georgina" alpha Dominique snapped " woah! I'm not gonna bite her." said Georgina defensively " it's not like she's your mate or something. no need to get so protective" she said mockingly alpha Dominique sullivan only gave her a cold and dry look. but somehow, her calculating mind seemed to understand. "is she?" she asked in a shaky voice. A look of anger and disgust washed over her face as she stared at me. Her brown eyes that were excited a few seconds ago was now filled with hatred and jealousy towards me. " Francis come on, let me take you to your room" said alpha Dominique, completely ignoring Georgiana. He grabbed my luggage and walked into the pack house with me trolling behind him. even though Georgina was now behind us, I could still feel the waves of anger coming from her. my room was at the top floor, I dropped my things at the door and walked into the the room. "tomorrow we will start your training. we will stay here for a week before taking you to the bridge keeper headquarters." those were the only things he said before he closed the door and walked away. ******** The next day I got up early, mostly because I couldn't sleep from all that had happened yesterday. I was escorted to the red sun pack training ground by two of the pack soldiers. The room was filled with various training devices and it smelt like sweat. " what are you doing here?" yelled Georgiana everyone stopped whatever they were doing and stared at me, the training ground became awfully quiet. I hated being the centre of attention, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. " didn't you hear me? what is a lowly omega like you doing here?" Georgina said in anger I looked to my side expecting the men who had escorted me here to say something but it seemed they had already left without me noticing. " I..... uhmmmm....Alpha Dominique uh..." the words were at the tip of my mouth but I found it difficult to say. " spit it out you freak" Georgina said impatiently " alpha Dominique Sullivan told me to come her for training" I finally said. "you lieing b***h! do you think we're stupid? " said Georgina " alpha Dominique wouldn't have told you to come here because this training room is for only high ranking wolves. I mean only people who are important get to train here " said a blonde haired girl. "you have some audacity to lie with alpha Dominique's name" said Georgina " she must be a slut, trying to meet alpha Dominique by coming here" said a girl with a pixie cut " n..n..no I didn't lie and I'm not a slut. didn't you see the gaurds that brought me here?" I said, the fear I felt was evident in my voice. I had no time to react as Georgina's fist came in contact with my face. I fell to the floor in a heap, my hand on my already bruising face. " you red eyed wolfless b***h! how dare you try to decieve us!" Georgiana said using her beta voice I cowered in fear at her rank, and I involuntarily bowed my head to show her submission. " we need to teach her a lesson Georgina" said the blonde haired girl mischievously " i totally agree with bethany. girls like her need to know their place" said another girl. I felt a sharp pain at my ribs as Georgina began to kick me continuously. soon her friends joined in and by the time they left me alone, I was barely conscious. I layed on the cold hard floor for hours, until the wolf healing started. unlike normal wolves, my wolf healing was exceptionally slow. I got up from the ground and went to my room. That night I cried myself to sleep. The next day, the bruises had turned purple and everywhere ached. I was too scared to go anywhere, so I stayed in bed. I slept throughout the morning and by the time it was afternoon, I decided to go meet alpha Dominique Sullivan and tell him that I am not cut out for being a bridge keeper. Bridge keepers are the most elite kinds of soldiers the world has ever known, and i am not strong enough for that. I could never be that person. I got dressed and walked out of my room to find alpha Dominique.
