“Hayden…please stop. I’m scared…let’s just go…” I pleaded as I tugged on his arm. “Yeah! Just go! Get out of my party,” Josh spat as he shooed us with his hand. “Touch her again and I’ll do more than just kill you and your entire family…” Hayden said emotionlessly as if stating a fact. It was worse than a threat, to him, it was the just the plain truth. I saw the image of Hayden’s father whacking him with a gun and I could imagine his words becoming true. Hayden grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the lounge without looking back. The guards looked at each other awkwardly before they just stood there silently, watching Hayden and I leave. His hands are so cold, and they gripped mine so tightly that it hurts. He was walking way to fast for me to keep up and I had to run after him.
