With that thought in mind, I rushed to the kitchen. Checking the ingredients that were readily available in the kitchen, I figured that I could quickly make some pancakes. Hayden seemed to like sweet things, judging from his liking for the chocolate cake that he had the other day. I started working on making the pancakes immediately. This is a race against time. I must finish these pancakes before he wakes up and get my ass out of here. To be honest, I didn’t care whether he wanted pancakes or not. I’m going to do it so that I fulfill the deal I made to his father for today and then go visit my grandmother. Finally! I finished the pancakes, arranged them neatly on a plate. Sifted icing on it.
