Dragon King's Abused

Episode 3

Somewhere away from the Dragon King's kingdom and his brutality, there was a land that still existed in the middle of the world, which was indeed blessed with nature and every other beautiful thing which was still left unnoticed and so untouched by the hands of the savage king and his men.

But the land was not just a gift of mother nature to this world but it had some other marvellous sides as well. Cause it was a land of magic and spells which was always responsible for making peace in between any kingdoms or lands of two opposing rulers, since a really long time.

The plane land in between the mountains, is the home of every magnificent creature in the world. Although it was not as big as an entire kingdom or something like that, the land was enough for all those people along with the animals and the greeneries to fit in all together, ever so beautifully. And indeed this was the only land worth calling 'Euthymia - the land of peace, faith and life'.

The air around the plane land is the most soothing as it engulfs each and everything into a slightly cold yet comfortable climactic weather. Seasonal changes are so prominent here as the rain comes to bestow the land with the hue of green on every part of the land, leaving not a single spot behind from flourishing with all the gifts of nature. In autumn the whole place entirely changes into a different kind of shade as if the land changed into another attire only to rejoice each and every moment in order to appreciate all the gifts of nature that the place is bestowed with. And in winter, the whole place gets to cover up with the fine snow every now and then as if the entire land gets to hide under the huge white blanket to stay warm and cosy in the cold. After that, spring comes with colours turning the whole land into an enormous bouquet with so many different kinds of flowers bloomed on the ground, on the trees and everywhere else all around the place. And in the enchanting scent coming from the valley full of different kind of flowers, the land enjoys some kind of magical time by indulging itself with so many festivals during the time, only to get ready to welcome the Summer once again with a warm heart, like always.

It was not just the land which was behind all this majestic beauty of such a place but every other living being who resides over this place with peace in their minds and a lot of warmth in their hearts.

Cause, people of Euthymia was not just any normal human being. Even though they were not like the other supernatural kind who possesses extra-ordinary strength or prosperity, nor they had their beasts as the other half of their souls like the dragonborns, they surely had some unique powers of their own which were indeed beyond anyone's reach. People of Euthymia used to hold powers to manipulate the elemental energies. Even so, that was not the only thing they were capable to do, cause so many things were yet to be discovered regarding what kind of magic they all possess, with which no other powers on the entire world can come into comparison.

Yes, their powers were great but they preferred to keep it to themselves only. Cause, seeing such magical powers and all their ability to change everything with just a snap, people from outside this particular race started to fear Euthymian people, since the very beginning. And it did not take much time to be rumoured all around the world, where everyone started to call their kind as the witches whereas their land was known as the land of witchcraft.

But in reality, these Euthymian people were always the ones who stood by peace and prosperity of nature only. They always preferred to lead a simple, happy and peaceful life, away from all the chaos around the world.

But, little did they know that everything was going to change soon, as the Dragon King had already heard about the place which was always hidden from the harsh world out there, or at least until now, and after getting to hear about such a place exists in the middle of the earth, totally hidden from everyone else, the Dragon King might want to conquer the land as well only to rummage the entire place with their brutality and ruthlessness, erasing the last bit of peace and tranquillity from the surface of the planet, without any kind of mercy and with no regret at all.

But, for now, the plane in-between the mountains was still there with all those happy people, while the land again turned into a valley of flowers with different kinds of flowers and so many different colours. As if each and every shade of all the existing beautiful colours were sprinkled all over the place with a very careful hand, as if the whole place was an enormous canvas on which the most beautiful painting of the landscape that is ever made.

Children were running and playing here and there while the happy giggles were filled in the air making the surrounding cheer up with a delightful morning once again.

Birds were chirping and singing in a melodious choir all together and were flying like a free soul, spreading their wings wide, only to let the wind carry them with its pleasant motion to some aimless direction, with no worries at all.

"Oliver!!!! Run slower. Or else you might trip." Aurelia shouted while running behind her little brother who is not at all bothered to listen to his sister's warnings and was so into playing around and running away from her sight to chase every little object that moves. Even though his soft and cheerful giggles were enough to make his sister's entire day, but still, Aurelia was indeed a little bit worried about her naughty little brother who was not at all calm enough to sit at one place for the slightest second.

"Come and get me, sis Eli." Oliver screamed loudly in his enthusiastic and excited voice as he was really enjoying his play while he was so sure that his sister would definitely come after him at his rescue if anything goes wrong, which was not wrong either. Cause whenever this five years old boy Oliver, creates some kind of trouble, it is always Aurelia, who takes care of her brother as her own child, even when she is also as young as only seventeen years.

"You are a big boy now, Oli. How can your sis Eli catch you that easily, when you are running this fast." Aurelia shouted from behind and as a response, Oliver giggled loudly in joy, finding that no one was able to defeat him in his play, not even his sister Eli. With his tiny little feet, he started to run even faster, leaving all the traces for his sister to come behind him in order to find him out.

It was a marvellous sight to watch while the kids were playing all around, in between the fields where the trees, the plants were all blossomed with beautiful flowers. And among them, there was this girl whose soul was the purest while she was the kindest of all.

Her beauty was beyond comparable cause she was the prettiest of all from inside as well as the outside.

Yes, she was called Aurelia.

Her skin was fairer than snow and her long hair that comes down her hips were wavy and was in the beautiful shade of silver grey, which definitely makes her the most beautiful among all. But among all her eyes were the most captivating, cause no one might have seen such beautiful green eyes which sometimes changes into turquoise or blue as well, ever so strangely.

Whether it was the result of her magic or if she was born this way or not, no one knows yet, but one thing was sure that although she was not yet fully ready to use her spells pretty well, she was definitely growing up to be the strongest, cause no one...no one at her age could do whatever Aurelia was capable to do already with her unique magic powers. And that was what makes her unique and different from all.

No, she was not the epitome of tremendous physical strength, neither she was good with playing tricks and manipulation, but she definitely has the strongest will of all and a truthful soul that had never learned to harm others for her own sake.

Yes, it was how Aurelia grew up to be. And her little brother was the dearest to her.

But now, her dearest brother, Oli was indeed causing her troubles as she noticed him ran into the deepest part of the forest only to hide from Aurelia, just for fun.

But it seemed that Aurelia already made a plan to make Oliver come running to her on his own.

"Look, look Oli. What I have just found." Intentionally Aurelia said out loud while stepping into the wood with her careful steps slowly, so that she could catch her brother's curious attention in no time. And she knew what else she needed to do.

Aurelia motioned her hands and with that, the whole wood which was in a shadow till now, lit up with the millions of fireflies in no time, making the whole surrounding look absolutely magical right at that moment. As if all the stars from the sky has come down to meet those two brother and sister.

"Stars, sis Eli. Stars are all around me. They have really come down to see me. Right, sis Eli?" Little Oliver, clapped his hands in sudden joy, totally forgetting about the fact that he was still hiding from her sister, just a while ago. But he did not care anymore, cause the sight that Aurelia had just created with her magic, made this little boy very much excited that he even started to chase behind the star-like lights, as much as he wished.

The wood filled with his cheerful happy laughter in no time while Aurelia kept watching his little brother enjoying himself to the fullest with just a little bit of her magic.

Even though no one was there to notice, those green eyes did flicker between blue and its real shade right at that moment, without much of her awareness. The only thing she could see before her eyes, was the little Oliver, and that was enough to warm her heart.

"Got you." Aurelia picked up her brother into his arms, while she made sure to come from behind ever so quietly, intending to surprise this little boy only to earn a lot of happy giggles hot herself.

Yes, that was what exactly happened, as Oliver hugged his sister tightly with his little hands, as he was still amused by his sister's little show with the stars, and said,

"You are the best, sis Eli. Oil loves you the most."

This was her life. Simple and happy.

Even though she could have got anything and everything that she wants with her magic powers, she always preferred to live a life as a normal human being, unless it is extremely important to use her strength when time demands.

But little did she know that her life was going to change at any time soon. Her entire world was going to turn into a burning hell which she used to consider as her paradise once.

Cause little did she know that she was going to meet the very person soon, who will definitely cause her all the pains in her life, but will also give her a new meaning of life for good or bad.

Yes, her life was going to turn into a bed of flowers at any time soon, but little did she know that thorns come along with it as well, which would never stop hurting her, ever.

And her love was about to bleed, for sure.
