I didnt sleep a wink all night, doing as much as I could to get ready for the ball. Partially so more staff could enjoy it themselves, but mostly so I wouldn't be forced to think about Max. Of course, he would show up last night, completely setting me off. I wish I could say I maintained my composure and decorum, but really I was anything but. I shuffled off to bed at almost four in the morning, only to get up at seven to start the morning routine.
"You look like hell." Casey said, handing me a cup of tea.
"I feel like it too." I yawned.
"Why don't you go back to bed? You have done so much already. Go get some sleep."
"I cant sleep, my mind is too busy lately." I admitted, blowing on the tea before taking a small sip.
