Walking inside the kitchen, Amy found Maria and Diego working and preparing the meal that was promised by them in celebration of Jessica and Lance’s engagement celebration.
As Maria was preparing the large dish of paella, Diego stood decorating a small fondant cake.
Amy smiled walking towards Diego and looking at the cake, that had initially written;
‘Congratulations on your engagement!’
But now Diego, held the piping bag and added another line that said;
‘Or Whatever!’
Amy laughed slightly, looking at the safe word play demonstrated by Diego over the cake.
“You know, I have to add this because of you!” he retorted at Amy, who gently bit her tongue.
“Sorry but not sorry.” She winked at him, walking ahead to grab an apple off the fruit tray placed on kitchen counter.
