“What are you doing here?”
Amy’s voice came out hoarse and exhausted. She couldn’t believe to see Arturo sitting right in the middle of the room, with Fred, resting right next to him.
Arturo only shook his head, closing his eyes understanding that now that Amy was here there was no way out of the situation. He also happened to notice the sling hanging down her arms and got up to walk right next to her.
“You need to rest.” He slightly patted her shoulder but she immediately shrugged off his touch.
“I asked you something.”
Her big round eyes were glossed up with the hurt of disbelief and exhaustion that she was suffering through.
“I think Commissioner Arturo made himself clear. You should go and rest.”
