"I'm fine Al. You just take it easy. I'm just a little nervous because you know, this is the first time I'm going to meet a guy," Shena told Alice. She didn't ask if Alice heard her or not.
"I know you're not okay, Shen. I've heard everything so there's no need for you to hide everything from me!" Alice said to Shena with a sad face.
Shena's shock grew, even though she didn't mean to upset Alice. She was just expressing her heart and felt guilty to her late mother for not being a good daughter.
