"I want to ask you about the offer you made earlier," Shena said to Alice who was still staring at her while waiting for the question Shena wanted to ask.
"So?" asked Alice as Shena's question was a bit of a cliffhanger.
"Does it still apply?" asked Shena back nervously.
Alice looked closely at her best friend's face. "So what, are you willing to accept the job? Ah, no. It's more like being a foreign man's lover," Alice replied, trying to convince Shena of her friend's question.
