Third Person’s POV
The Basu mansion was quiet as the happiness of the house, Akshat Basu is on a business trip. His mother Sampada Basu is sitting on the couch and reading some fashion magazine. However, she was not able to concentrate, she was thinking about Rudra’s arrival in their life.
On the one hand, she is happy to see him back but on other hand she is worried about Akshat. She knew Rudra is not the same person. He has grown up so does his hate for Akshat.
And his marriage with Ananya is the proof that he is here to take what belongs to him.
She was lost in her thoughts when she suddenly heard Akshat’s voice. He was calling her again and again.
“Mom?”
“Mom?”
As soon as she noticed Akshat, she ran to him and gave him a motherly hug saying, “Akshat, you are back.”
She waited for him to reply but instead, he asked, “Mom, I heard Ananya got married.”
Sampada was shocked to hear her son. Ananya is his best friend and she was sure that he won’t take it lightly that she got married without him.
She nodded saying, “Yes, she is married now.”
“How can she marry without her best friend. She didn’t even bother to inform me.”. He said and sat on the couch making a pout.
Sampada sat beside Akshat and touched his shoulder gaining his attention.
She tried to make him understand, “Akshat, even we were shocked when she said yes to the marriage. Even she ditched all other marriage functions. She just wanted to get married as soon as possible.”
Akshat was shocked listening to her. He knew how she wanted to marry. She wanted to enjoy every second of her marriage but she got married in such a hurry. Thinking all this he understood something was not right.
“I had to meet her.”, He said with determination.
“Akshat, it’s her first day at her in-laws. Just wait for some time.”, His mother tried to stop him.
“No, mom. I can’t.”, Akshat argued.
He was about to leave when he suddenly stopped and turned to his mother asking, “Who is her husband by the way?”
“Rudra Pratap Singh.”, Sampada declared and Akshat almost yelled saying. “What? She married her biggest business rival.”

Ananya’s POV
I was sleeping calmly on the bed. I don’t know how it is possible that I have got the best sleep of my life with my biggest business rival beside me. Yes, I slept like a baby.
I never had any issues with my sleeping but with time, work, and the insane love that I gave to that fucker made me like that. I dug myself into work like there is nothing important other than getting successful in life.
However, from the last two days, from sitting on that marriage pavilion to now I haven’t thought about work. Yes, I noticed how my shares are fluctuating but I am not doing anything.
Yeah, you are right.
It’s my dearest husband who is messing with my business. Although I have no proof but, he is the only person who can benefit from this situation.
With all these thoughts in my mind, I am sitting in front of the mirror and getting ready. I was busy combing my hair when I noticed Rudra beside me leaning on the wardrobe.
“Stop staring at me.”, I warned him and he asked casually, “Why?”
“Because you make me lose my mind.”, I said focusing on what I was doing.
“So?”, He asked again and I turned to him with a smile on my face.
I walked near to him and said, “So, I feel like plucking out your eyes from the sockets. Trust me, I don’t want a blind husband any time soon.”
Listening to me, his smile widened and he said, “Wow, finally you are back.”
“The Savage Ananya Shergill.”, He said and pulled me into his embrace.
He was holding my waist so possessively. I tried to remove his hands from my waist saying, “What are you doing?”
“What do you think I am doing, Mrs. Singh?”, He asked making me angry.
“Ananya Shergill”, I corrected him and he shook his head in no.
“No, it is Ananya Rudra Pratap Singh.”, He completed.
My eyes were red. I knew that because I am angry now and it is the effect of my anger that shows on my face. I was ready with a good reply but suddenly my phone started ringing and I turned to the mirror.
I saw Akshat’s name on the screen.
“Akshat?”, I murmured and suddenly his hold on my waist tightened.
His nails were digging in my skin.
“Rudra, leave me.”, I said to him but he was looking at the phone only.
“I have to take this call. Leave me.”, I said again but he held me in his arms and took me to bed saying, “No, it’s your first day in our home. I want you to stay away from your ex-lover now.”
“What?”, I almost yelled listening to him.
“Who the hell told him that Akshat is my lover?”, I thought in my mind.
Finally, the phone was silent. After a few moments, Rudra also got ready.

Third Person’s POV
Ananya and Rudra were ready. Ananya was checking her emails on her phone when she felt his presence behind her. She closed her emails and asked, “Shall we go outside now?”
Rudra nodded and held her hand in his. Suddenly a weird sensation erupted in her body that she desperately wanted to avoid but was not able to.
As soon as they reached the drawing room, Ananya noticed there was none. Even there was not a single servant. She turned to Rudra asking, “Where is everyone?”
“Who?”, Rudra asked confusingly.
Ananya replied, “Your parents and relatives.”
Hearing her, Rudra replied, “They don’t live with me.”
“Of course, relatives don’t live with you but your parents?”, Ananya asked casually but she saw a sudden change in his face for a second.
However he was normal in the next second, he replied, “They live in their own home.”
Ananya was shocked. Ananya is a modern girl but still, she gives so much value to her tradition so she asked him, “What about the after-marriage rituals?”
Rudra was silent for a while like he was trying to read her. Soon he replied, “We will go to their place for that.”
Ananya nodded. She was about to ask something else but before that, she heard him, “Let’s have breakfast.”
With that, they made their way to the breakfast table. The breakfast was served on the table and to her surprise every dish was of her choice.
They both served on their plates and started eating.
Ananya thought in her mind, “I don’t know what is going on in his mind. I have to be careful.”
Rudra looked at Ananya who was focusing on her food and vowed in his mind, “Now, you are with me. I am not going to let you go away from me.”
“I have to find out why did he marry me? For that I have to talk with my assistant.”, Ananya thought and found Rudra staring at her again.
Rudra wished, “I wish I could go back in the past where you were only mine. Then Akshat wouldn’t have come between us.”
“Akshat is the only person I can trust in this matter. I had to ask him for help.”, Ananya determined in her mind.
“You are still as beautiful as you were before.”, Rudra smiled thinking about it, and started eating it.
Meanwhile, Ananya was done with the breakfast and unknowingly she was looking at Rudra like he was her favorite cake. She thought, “I don’t why he is obsessed with himself like he is some sort of celebrity.”
“Enjoying the view, Mrs. Singh?”, Rudra brought her out of her thoughts and she replied turning her face away, “You are not that handsome to enjoy.”
“No worries. Who cares for the look when there is love.”, Rudra commented and Ananya stood saying, “So cheesy.”
“Let’s go, Rudra.”, She said and he held her hand again in his and said, “Sure, Mrs. Singh.”
With that, they both left for the after-marriage rituals at Rudra’s parents' place.
