Chapter 2

1625 Words
Ananya’s POV I have been a wise person. I was always conscious of every step of my life. When I decided to start my own company everyone literally laughed thinking that I had lost my mind. But instead of taking that personally or getting discouraged, I made my own identity from a zero level. I took a debt to start my own company and that time it was just my idea that helped me stand out from the crowd. Many people feel I got lucky or the stars were in my favor. But I was never served on a silver platter despite my father being one of the best lawyers in the country. But I did it. The people who mocked me once now appreciate me for my success. But how long? What I have done shows how stupid I am. I have married my rival and now not only my image but my shares are going down. All these thoughts have consumed my mind since the time I am alone in this well-decorated room. Fuck. That bastard is nowhere. Thank God for that. I can’t deal with his tantrums after what I have gone through the entire day. As soon as I was alone in this room. I checked my phone, and it was filled with tons of congratulatory messages from friends, relatives, and business associates who were not present at my marriage. Guess what? My friends think I married my love. Fuck that stupid didn’t come. With nervousness, I started walking into the room and talking to myself, “s**t, what have I done?” “Where the hell was my mind when I said yes to the marriage?”, I said, throwing the phone on the bed. I thought about the moment when I told my boyfriend that I am getting married and cursed myself, “I am such a stupid person. Just to make him realize his feelings for me, I married someone.” “What someone? He is f*****g Rudra Pratap Singh.”, I said, yelling, and opened the door of the balcony. “My business rival.”, I walked onto the balcony and didn’t realize how huge that was. I looked at the stars and spoke, “Can my life be f****d up any better?” “But what would I do now?”, I asked, keeping my both hands on my waist, getting annoyed. I was thinking of jumping from the balcony but stopped thinking, “My family’s reputation will be ruined if I ran from this?” I turned around and yelled, “What about my reputation when everyone would come to know that I married.” I looked at the sky like God was present there and asked, “Why can’t you give me some peace of mind? You love to play with my life.” ------- Rudra’s POV I can’t describe in words what I am feeling these days. After years of dispute with my father, I have totally lost hope that he can do anything for me. However, he proved me wrong. He still cares for me, although it really doesn’t matter to me. But I can at least take benefit of that. Everyone was shocked when I told my friends that I wanted to marry Ananya Shergill. They were like I had lost my mind with continuous defeats from her. But they can never think in their dream the real reason for getting married to her. I was so happy that I didn’t realize it when I reached home. I entered the palace and found it empty. Yes, there was no guest, no voice just the way I like. I told my father that I wanted privacy with my wife so no one should be at home. Seems he finally understood his son. With a happy face, I entered my room and saw her standing on the balcony. Her long hair was finally open. They were reaching to her waist. Her golden and red lehenga was making her look like a queen. Her pale skin was calling me to embrace her in my arms. Without thinking for a second, I walked towards her and hugged her from behind. She was suddenly still like there was no breath in her body. Both my hands were holding her waist possessively. I brought my lips near her ears and asked, “Thinking of committing suicide, Mrs. Singh?” She didn’t reply but I could feel her hard breathing. I kissed her earlobe and continued, “Come on don’t do such things. It’s our wedding night.” Just as I was expecting, she turned around and pushed me away from her. “What the hell are you doing?”, She asked covering her body with her long dupatta. I smiled and took two steps closer to her, saying, “What do you think?” She was taking a long breath and I knew she was confused. At least I understood her that much in the last few days. I held her wrist and pulled her into my body, “You are my wife and I have all the right to touch every inch of your skin.” Her breasts were touching my chest. I could feel her body that was tense. Still she warned, looking straight into my eyes, “Stop it and stay away from me.” She was about to go away but I held her hand and said, “Well, that is not going to happen. At least not tonight.” With that, I held her in my arms in bridal style and started walking inside the room. “Rudra, leave me.”, She started struggling in my arms. “What the hell are you doing?”, She continued with a higher tone this time, and the next moment I threw her on the bed. “Aaah”, I heard her screaming, but before she got away from me, I got on her body. She was under me. Her eyes were looking like fire. The storm was building inside her. But I was not worried about it. I kept my body weight on her to keep her in place and said, “Let me make a few things clear to you, Mrs. Singh.” “It’s not Rudra anymore. Don’t you know in our family the wives call their husbands, Rana sa? So, learn to give respect to your husband.”, I said, but she didn’t flinch. I removed some hair from her face and she closed her eyes. I touched her lips with my fingers and suddenly her heart was beating so fast. I continued, “Next, I hate to hear high tones, especially from my wife. So, keep your voice in check when you are talking to me.” While talking to her, I saw the pendant she was wearing with the initials ‘A’. Although, her name also starts with ‘A’ so it might be possible it is for her own name. But my concern was not the initial but the person who gave it to her. So I held that pendant, “Third, you are my wife and I hate seeing anyone else’s gifts on your body.” With that, I pulled it from her neck, leaving bruises. I threw the necklace on the floor, but her eyes were glued to me. Soon I heard her, “What do you want?” I smiled, replying, “Exactly what I just told you.” “Follow my orders and I will be a good husband.”, I added. She listened to me but didn’t say anything for a while. Soon, she spoke, “Please can you just get up?” “Why?”, I asked. I waited for her reply, but she was quiet, so I continued, “Tell me, wifey. Why should I get up from my wife’s body?” She licked her lips before she opened her mouth to say, “I am tired.” I heard her and immediately asked with a panicked tone, “Really? Then don’t you think I must make my wife relax?” “No, I want to sleep.”, She argued, and I almost yelled, “What?” I was not shocked. I was expecting that, but I was not expecting her to be this normal. I was expecting to meet ‘The Ananya Shergill’ but never mind. I heard her again, “Please.” I nodded and asked, “Okay, if you say so. But what will I get in return?” “Whatever you say.”, She said, trying to push me, but I didn’t budge, so she gave up that idea. I thought for a while, and suddenly I got an idea, “Then let me help you take off this heavy jewelry from my wife’s body.” Her eyes were wide open listening to me. I forwarded my hand to her saying, “Deal?” She took her time and nodded, which I didn’t like, so I said, “Words.” “Deal.”, She finally said, and placed her hand on mine. With that, both of us stood from the bed, and we walked into the walk-in closet. I pulled the chair in front of the mirror and said, “Sit.” She obliged without any tantrums and I finally started removing the heavy jewelry from her body. I was so engrossed in my task that I didn’t realize that all the jewelry was on the table. I was lost when I heard Ananya, “Why did you marry me?” I looked into the mirror and our eyes met through the mirror.
