Lora had invited us to Drax's surprise birthday party and I was excited to enjoy his special day, we had planned to have a great time as we had located the real Omri and we were pulling him out of Rogueland tomorrow night. I reached the party with my wife and my brother arrived a few minutes behind me with Allison, we had planned to have a ball tonight before I headed out to rescue Omri and his family. I watched when Halle walked in with that imposter and I had to control Bashien, he wanted his head on a trophy table and I snickered because he has a bad temper just like I did before I was unbound. The party was in full swing after Drax showed up and he was surprised, I loved seeing him so happy interacting with his mates. It took him a while to accept them but when he did, it was like no other, he was completely in love with them and honestly, if I was gay, we would have had a very exciting relationship. It seems like all their troubles were worth it in the end and I look at my wife drinking her apple cider and dancing with her new best friend Bonnie having a grand old time.
I looked at Chance, his identity check out but there was something so familiar about him, his brother was here tonight and he often gave off a pretentious vibe but he also checked out, they have become close to us as we are business partners now invested in some things and the business relationship between our companies was profitable. Rick was talking to his bodyguard who seemed stressed looking around until he went outside and then I saw Ty talking to Sheila at a table. Sheila was having a hard time but I hope Ty gives her a chance, some relationships are not all roses and rainbows but they can work in the end. I walked over to Emerie kissing her as Bonnie excused us, I explained about our plan tomorrow night and she said, "Be careful, baby," then I heard an alarm, rogues were attacking. A full-on attack was happening and I was fighting next to my wife, she had changed into her wolf along with Bonnie and I was shocked to see that they had similar wolves.
I was confused and wondered if they were related in any way but my wife was an only child, her father was dead. Later, we were in pursuit of Sheila's kidnappers, Ty was unhinged because of his missing mate, he didn't want to admit it but he was falling in love with her. An angry Supreme Hybrid looking for his mate, was a death sentence, Ty spared no one and Ryker mind-linked me to take the other rogues out with Andrew. We returned to the party where everyone was wandering around checking on their loved ones, I felt my mate running towards me and I turned around to catch her as she wrapped her legs around me, face buried in my neck linking me, "I was so worried, baby," I held her tight. I saw Bonnie being hugged by Rick who had blood on his clothes and his brother was draining a rogue, his blood lust had taken over until Eli commanded him to stop. I was confused because wouldn't he have a better handle on his blood lust by now? However, I let it slide to the back of my mind, maybe they were something traumatic in his past that was letting his vampire take over.

I was upset when my wife told me about the incident with our boss the other day after our big match, it was playing on my mind, he wanted her to sleep with him again for old-time sake, not wanting other girls that he owned. He told me, "The others are looking for you and they will be coming to retrieve you and your family tomorrow at 9 pm sharp, it will happen at the gym since it was easier to get in and out from there." I nodded in understanding as he went on to say handing me a bottle, "Don't worry about the spell, drink this potion an hour before extraction and you all should be good." He left and I felt relieved, I was finally going home after all these years but then I thought, "How do I explain my wife and son to my mate and other kids?" I looked at the bottle in my hand and knew it was a strong potion by Addison, I was going home, and I lay next to my wife hugging her because tomorrow night, we would be free.

I reached home pissed that I had to fight, no one noticed that I didn't have wings so I was good, my secret was still safe. I was cleaning the blood off me and Halle walked in and said, "Your mark looks different," looking at my neck. I tried not to panic and smiled saying, "No, it's not, it's always been that way," kissing her and distracting her, we took a shower together and after a long session of lovemaking, she was asleep. I looked into the mirror and saw my original Royal Mark, I went over to my hidden nook in the wall and drank the last of my potion, after, the mark changed back to Omri's Royal Mark. I made a call to my supplier who told me, "Meet me in twenty minutes," I snuck out to meet him.
I met up with my supplier and decided that I needed to be more careful with my indiscretions and went to a bar to gamble a bit. I saw Pearson's lover, Orzel, and walked over to him and asked, "What are your plans with the lieutenant?" He said, "My orders are just retrieving information for the boss at the moment and enjoying some good c**k," he smiled, drank the remainder of his scotch, then got up and left. I smiled because I could tell Michael about this and get him on my side but I knew it would take more than that to trick, Michael. I just needed to make everything permanent and decided to make the deal with Josephine after all.
