I watched anxiously as Cecilia was led into the room. Her eyes landed on me right away, and she quickly walked over to me. I was standing not that far from Landon, who slowly took a seat again on the couch. I really didn’t like where this was going, and I became even more worried as the pack members from outside the door joined us in the room.
“Are you okay?” she quickly inquired, placing her hands on my arms as she looked me over.
I would have enjoyed hearing her concern for me if I hadn't been so worried at the moment.
“Aw, how sweet,” my brother remarked. “You know, I must say you two are perfect together.”
“What is it that you want?” I asked him.
“Me? No, no, this is for you, brother,” he replied.
“Landon!”
“Come on, you’re dying to have her,” he continued.
