When I returned, it was already dark, and I figured most people had gone to sleep. However, passing by Lara’s office, I noticed the door was open and someone was still up.
They were sitting in the dark, with only the computer screen illuminating the room. I glanced curiously at the silhouette sitting on a chair with their back to me, but I had a feeling of who it was.
“Cecilia?”
Cecilia swiveled in her chair, looking at me, and I quickly reached for a light switch. I saw her blink a little, then she turned back to her computer.
“What are you doing sitting in the dark?” I inquired.
“Just working,” she replied.
