Dante and I stood by the door, watching as Amandla scurried around, trying to find something. I had laid an unconscious Emmett on the bed. "I've never been so scared in my life," Dante said for the umpteenth time, eyeing Emmett. I couldn't talk, eyeing Emmett. There's so much blood around the bed and on the sheets.
