My Dracula System - Part 1

It was unexpected indeed. Jay had never thought that Vinno would be able to find about the vampires so soon.
Even though he trusted Vinno, somewhere in his heart he thought that Vinno didn't take it seriously.
That was why Jay expected that Vinno would take it easy and would start working on it sometime later, however it was quite the contrast.
Vinno had started working right after Jay left. He went to the place where the so called accident had occurred and found many things.
He was indeed diligent and probably that was what Jay never thought knew about.
Regardless, Jay was quite worried after reading the last text which Vinno had sent.
Without a doubt, it was no prank. Also, the contents did mention about the mixed society about the vampires and humans which no human knew about.
Well, now what it mattered was for Jay to reach at the place that was asked as soon as possible.
Indeed, he ran quite fast and covered the entire distance within ten minutes. He arrived at a construction site after opening the map via the link that Vinno had sent.
There was an incomplete building right in front of Jay. He hid well and then walked inside while taking each and every step carefully.
For some reason, he felt that there was definitely something wrong here.
He tried to look everywhere but found nothing. He then took a look at the top most floor of the building which was like a terrace.
The building was almost finished but was still incomplete. The doors were missing and so were the windows, the walls hadn't been strengthened either.
'There...', Jay looked at the topmost floor right after arriving there because he could feel an ominous energy radiating from that place.
He ran as fast as he could and in a blink of an eye he was already there. The amazing speed of his was inhuman like which he hadn't noticed till now.
Also, his strength had been increased too which he hadn't noticed. His body was in the best possible condition and thus, he didn't feel or find anything to be weird.
Regardless, when he arrived at the top most floor, he started to get the smell of blood.
'Tap Tap'
The room of the topmost floor was visible while climbing the stairs. So when Jay was at the end of the stairs, he could clearly see that someone was hanged to the ceiling via rope and there was something dripping from him.
"Huh...?"
When he arrived at the topmost floor and entered it, he found the person who was hanged to be none other than Vinno.
His body was basically ripped apart. There were no hands nor were there any legs. The only thing that was being hanged to the ceiling was the body.
A rope was around his neck and probably that was what killed him.
The blood was still dripping from his body but more than that, there was a pool of blood right below Vinno.
"Hey..."
"You aren't dead right...?", was what Jay asked even after looking at the pupils of the eyes that were turned upside.
And just when he was trying to walk a but closer, he heard a voice from behind.
"Who is he!?", a question was posed and even before Jay could turn back, he was stabbed.
'Stab'
The hand of a person pierces his abdomen. The long nails acted like the blade which made the penetration easier.
*cough*
Jay coughed a large amount of blood when he was stabbed. Basically, a hole had been dug out of his abdomen.
"You...", he slowly turned his gaze only to find a middle aged man stabbing him with his arm having elongated nails.
At first, Jay failed to understand what had happened, but when he looked at the blood red eyes and the sinister like look, he was able to confirm immediately that they were none other than the vampires about whom Vinno had tried to investigate.
"Huh...?"
"He is...", two more vampires appeared who basically looked quite similar to humans. They too seemed in their thirties but had the same red pupils.
The vampires had a characteristic trait that the pupils in their eyes would be red. Very rarely any other colors were found.
Jay didn't know about the other types but he was sure that the ones with red pupils and the fangs in their mouths were absolutely vampires!
He ultimately fell down yet again due to the blood loss and his strength started to leave him.
"Damn, did you just kill a human!?", one of the other two vampires which had just appeared asked this to the one who stabbed Jay.
"He..."
"He was a human!?", the vampire pulled his hand out of Jay's abdomen right after which Jay fell on the ground.
He was shocked as if Vinno, whom he killed, wasn't a human. Probably the scent which they received from him was a different.
"Damn! We need to get out from here!", shouted the ones who appeared latter and were trembling in fear.
Wings appeared on their backs and they flew out of the open windows. Since it was night time and the moon wasn't out yet, no one could have probably seen them.
However, the lights that were shining from the rooms of the incomplete building, did cast their shadows on the ground which was noticed by a very few people who were passing by the road.
"..."
'Is this how I die...?'
'I had survived somehow earlier...'
'But now I don't think I will make it out alive...'
Jay turned to one of his side while thinking this.
"Haha..."
"Alas, I die due to the vampires..."
While saying that he closed his eyes and probably bid farewell to the world.
Earlier, at least he struggled to stay alive, but right now he didn't get any such thoughts nor did he even want to stay alive since he didn't have family anymore.
However, it seemed like the world had something in store for him, something that would make up for all the un-luck which he had faced till date.
'Ding'
