Jay's breathing had become uncontrollable just by hearing what the reporter said. His heart beat had been maxed up.
Although he never had any problem in the heart since the birth, he could feel a vague pain now in the same region.
'No... nothing might have happened to them...'
'They are just late...'
'That's it...'
He tried to convince himself that they were alright but subconsciously his mind was thinking otherwise.
He hated to admit it but the accident had really happened so he had no other choice but to accept it.
However, he still had some hope about seeing his parents because he was yet to be informed about their deaths.
Furthermore, whatever the reporter said was not from the crime scene. He was actually present in the news station and was saying whatever the news had arrived to him.
So there might have been come chance that his parents and his sister might have survived like some other survivors.
'The station is quite far away from here, but the train track is not that away from the Shido Bus Stop...'
The train station was indeed far away, but the train tracks passed near the roads where the Shido Bus stop was present.
Jay stood up and moved out almost immediately without switching the T.V. off nor locking the door.
He ran just like a mad dog all the way to the Shido station which was 5 miles away from the place where he stayed.
'Huff huff'
He had no time to even get on any bus or ask someone to give him a ride till that place. Actually his mind had almost stopped working at this moment.
'Mamma... papa... Lily...', he kept thinking about them as he ran with all his might.
'Huff Huff'
He finally reached the station in 15 minutes however his unsteady breathing was much more irregular right now.
He was panting and sweating profusely. Even his feet had started bleeding because he never got the time or thought about wearing a shoe or sandals before leaving the home.
All he wore was a pair of white shocks which had already been painted in red.
'The trains... they usually come from that way...', he stared towards his left while saying that.
'Yes, I need to go that way...', after deciding that he had to head towards his left, he started to run yet again.
"I'm coming... wait for me!"
He said to himself and ran yet again. It was probably the first time in his life when he had ran so fast.
He was not an athlete nor was he good in sports. Even his build up and looks were so-so. Despite that he didn't stop running and that was probably because of one ability that he had developed over a period of time.
It couldn't be called as an ability but it functioned in somewhat similar manner.
It was about Pain Resistance which he had acquired by continuously getting bullied throughout his life till date!
It was probably because if that he could ignore the pain in his feet which was getting intensified again and again due to the pebbles on and near the train track.
'Huff Huff'
'The timing...'
'If the accident happened 4 hours ago then...'
He guessed the place where the accident might have happened just by thinking of the time in which it would have happened.
'I'm on my way... Don't be scared...'
He was just telling those things to himself because he had no idea if they were alive or not. Regardless, he was thinking positive which was probably good for now.
But he couldn't do anything if something would have happened to them. Regardless, he didn't stop his run.
Within a span of 30 minutes he had already covered a large amount of distance and was quite near to the site where it had occurred.
He had been running all this time without even resting for a second. His speed had gradually decreased and now his run was synonymous with just walking.
Despite that, he didn't stop himself from moving forward. His thin and slender legs would have felt apart if he had run anymore.
His body had accumulated enough fatigue to make him fall asleep for 3-5 days in a go. Even after this, he didn't stop himself or even think about resting.
There wasn't even a single drop of tears flowing down his eyes. Of course that was because he believed that they were still alive but he couldn't prevent himself but think about something else that might have happened there.
It took him another 12-15 minutes to reach the area where the accident had occurred according to him. But he found nothing in that area.
It was completely clean as if someone had come and cleaned the area.
He tried to look as far as possible but there was nothing visible to him. He then walked a bit more further and took a look but there was nothing present there either.
Of course, he was still not sure about the exact place and had just assumed this to be the place where the accident might have occurred so he decided to walk a bit further.
"Huh...? That..."
He saw a weird light flash for a moment and extinguish right away. He could measure the distance right away which was no more than 300-400 meters right after which he ended up running towards it.
'Lub Dub Lub Dub Lub Dub'
His heart beat increased as he stared at the tunnel. His legs started to move on their own and even before realizing it, he was running yet again.
'What is this feeling of uneasiness...?'
He kept wondering what it was that kept bothering him. He didn't know why his heart was paining even more right now.
It was already dark and he had no idea if he was heading towards the right direction, but on thing was for sure, the light which flashed a second ago gave him a clue about something due to which he didn't cease his motion and kept running till he reached the place.
