I opened my eyes and groaned aloud. I felt my head so heavy as if someone had put a heavyweight on it. I held up my head and massaged gently. "Are you having a headache", I snapped my head towards the direction of the voice while opening my eyes completely. I was startled to see Tom sitting near me. He started massaging my head and I sighed aloud.
"Is the operation done?" I asked him in a low voice. I felt my throat completely dry. "Here", I opened my eyes and saw him holding a glass of water. I tried to sit down and he helped me in sitting while taking support of the backrest of the bed. I took the glass from him and finished the content. "The operation has been completed but she is still unconscious. You had a high fever and you slept for five hours straight", he told
