Hell of a Situation When I was a kid, I remember going to someone's house. I don't know whose house. It wasn't a school friend. The couple—a man and a woman—had two boys, and the boys were older than me, but younger than my brother, so I doubt they were Chris's friends either. Whoever these people were, we went to their house and, while my mother went off with their dad, their mom brought us into the kitchen and took a tray out of the freezer. Her sons were super-excited, clapping their hands and jumping around and celebrating what was about to happen. Me and Chris were totally in the dark.
