My time with Vesper passed in a blur as I was rushed through a tour of the palace. There was so much of it especially the intricate back stairways that the servants used to get around. Again I’m in a state of culture shock at the difference between the Sunwalkers and the Nightbornes. It was either that or I was too sheltered back home to notice these kinds of things.
The palace consisted of numerous rooms mostly left unused. I learn from Vesper that Kalypso is one of his last remaining relatives. He has another cousin who’s a general that lives inside the palace but is hardly seen as he works outside. There aren’t many sacrifices permitted inside the palace walls. The ones that are have been under the Nightbornes control for years.
I didn’t meet any of them.
