I was also thinking, although I cant have my novels for free anymore, I might not renew my contact when the years are up. But for now, for those who can buy, or afford them, would you guys be comfortable if I did something like OnlyFans where you could support me at a low price in exchange for access to these chapters? I'll speak to my editors, obviously, but it's an idea. Let me know.
I'm back on my writing s**t, so new chapters will be posted on Dreame after this one.

"You got something going on tonight?" Tera asks as she drops us off at home and I shake my head.
"Nah, I'm just gonna get everything settled for Soraya tonight. Iron uniforms and such."
"Right, I'll call you later sis."
"Bye TeTe," Soraya waves both Tera and Eastern and they wave back.
"Mommy?" Soraya asks as we walk up the stairs.
"Yeah baby?"
"Who was that man you were talking to?"
I shut my eyes for a second, kids were so darn fast.
"A-A friend baby, why?"
"He kissed you." She giggles and I was a shy mess right about now. I felt so embarrassed that she saw that, that I sucked my teeth playfully.
"No he didn't," i joke.
"Yes he did!" She grins, laughing loudly and I roll my eyes.
"You need to mind your own business, child." I quietly laugh to myself, opening up the door. My mother was knocked out on the couch as usual, so Soraya gasps, placing a palm against her mouth as if she was surprised. I stare at her, my eyebrows knitted together and she turns around to tell me to shush, a finger against her lips. I purse my lips to avoid laughing, as she tiptoes quietly, her hands out as if she was balancing.
This girl was too much.
I decide to join her, tiptoeing all the way to her room and she quietly closes the door.
I sit on her bed and she looks at me, and then her bed.
"What?" I ask her.
"You're going to break my bed," she frowns and my mouth drops open.
"Are you trying to call your mama fat?" I ask her and she avoids my eye, running for her toy box.
"Nuh uh, get back here," I grab her as she runs away, pulling her onto my lap. She giggles, struggling to get away as I tickle her.
"How can you tell me I'm gon break your bed, Soraya?"
"I'm kidding mommy!" She says loudly and I narrow my eyes.
"You better be." I let her sit up in my lap, getting comfortable. She cradled herself in my arms, her face rest on my breast, just like she used to do as a baby.
If it's one thing Soraya couldn't do, it was stay awake, and I was more than thankful for that. As soon as the sun started disappearing, she got sleepy.
I rocked her in my arms, singing softly as I remove her sandals. A few minutes later, she was fast asleep. I remove her clothes, changing her into something looser then covered her up. I pulled her satin bonnet over her head, and turned on her night light.
Gently closing the door, I peek at my mother who was still asleep on the couch, and roll my eyes before going into her room, grabbing her blanket and throwing it over her.
Finally some me time, I take off my clothes and laid naked under my freshly washed covers. I sigh of relief leaves my lips as I shut my eyes. I too, was out like a lamp after a few minutes, but not because replaying Mr. Roman's words in my head, over and over.

"Have a great day at school baby!" I wrap my cardigan around me as Soraya crawled into Tera's car, par patrol lunch kit in hand.
Eastern immediately lit up when he saw her, and I smiled at their interaction.
"I'll see you in a few, sis." I nod at Tera as she drives off.
Eastern and Soraya attended a private preschool out of town. It was about an hour away, but it was worth it. They were well taken care of and their teachers knew how to act around them.
The preschools around here weren't terrible, but because of the low budget, the workers didn't care much for your child. They did what they had to do and everything else was done by you. And I meant basic things like learning to share, dealing with tantrums, just basic society norms would have to be done by you. It wouldn't be a problem if school wasn't the best place to demonstrate such morals.
Today I had some errands to run before I started cooking. I actually ran a catering business out of my home, and it was bussing, however, a business needs more than a little money to keep it up and running, and that's were my side job did the most.
Tonight Papa was hosting a little neighbourhood barbeque, and while he stayed on the grill, he asked that I I up some of my delicious sides.
Soon I'd be able to open my restaurant on the other side of town, Tera as my right hand.
I got ready simply throwing on some leggings and a large T-shirt with my waist trainer underneath. I decided to just throw on a hat , hiding the top of my wig, and no make up.
I called a driver, and waited for at least thirty minutes before they arrived. I really needed to get my own car, theres no reason why I currently dont have one.
They apologized for their lateness and I force a smile, nodding so that they could just get going. They were going to make me late.

Today I was planning to make some seafood pasta, mashed potatoes, macaroni pie (baked Maraconi), steamed veggies, and a chip bowl for the kids. The grocery story was empty on this fine, sunny Monday morning, because everyone was most likely on their way to work.
I grabbed everything I needed, and then searched the cereal isle for Soraya's favorite cornflakes. It was always funny to me how she didn't like the sweet cereals, especially if they were colorful. She said she hated how the milked looked afterwards.
There was only one more remaining on the shelf, and as soon as I walked forward to get it, someone reached out and snatched it first.
"Dammit," I instinctively stomp my foot then look around consciously to see if anyone had seen. Thankfully, they didn't.
"Excuse me, sir?" I take a step back once Roman turns around, revealing himself.
"So . . . You're stalking me now?" I ask him, and he grins.
"Honey."
"Don't Honey me," with your fine ass.
"I'm not following you, Mamas, promise." I raise a suspicious eyebrow. I decide to let it go, my focus now on the cereal.
"I need that." I tell him, pointing to the box, and he smirks.
"Do you?" He teases.
I let out a deep breath, shifting my weight onto one foot.
"Stop playing with me, are you gonna give it or not?"
"Nah."
I shrug, "fine then."
I continue pushing my cart and he steps in front it, I should've ran him over.
"Yo, relax. I was gon give it to you." He places it in the cart before noticing it's contents.
"What?" I raise an eyebrow, pushing my cart forward and he licks his lips.
"I can tell your daughter eats good at home," he whistles and I roll my eyes.
"She does, but this is for a neighbourhood barbeque later tonight."
"Word? That's cool. So I'm guessing you can whip up a mean meal?"
"The meanest," I joke, and he chuckles.
"I noticed that you ain't have a car, you need a ride over there later?"
I stop the car, placing a hand on my hip.
"How'd you notice that?"
"I just noticed," he shrugs and I squint my eyes. Maybe he's actually been stalking me.
"Tera's taking care of it, don't you worry your little self," I tell him.
"Oh mamas, we both know I ain't little," he smirks.
"Boy, if you don't get the hell out of my face," I tried to remain serious but my smile betrayed me. I quickly look away.
"Give me your number."
"No," I let out a laugh, but he persists, "why. . . do you need my number?"
"Just in case, boo."
"Don't call me boo, cause I am not the one," I give him my phone nevertheless so he could put his number in and he does it eagerly.
"Call me if you need anything." He winks.
"I won't," I roll my eyes at him, continuing towards the cashier. I start offloading everything, as right when she was done, I get ready to pay but of course he was there. He gave her his card and before I could protest she wiped.
I scowl at him and he avoids my eyes, smiling at the lady as she returns his card. He helps me as I place my bags in the cart, then follows me out to put them in his car.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"I'm driving you home."
"Absolutely no-"
"What you gone do? Walk?"
Determining that he had won, he continues to place the bags inside his car. I just quietly return the cart, and get in.
I could've taken an uber..
