Clara Grey is the new girl of Carol Springs. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grey. The first week in their newly bought place was dedicated to sorting out their things. A group of teenagers came to help on the second day of sorting out the place. Despite knowing each other for a short period of time, the teenagers have become close with Clara since the start of their house sorting adventure. Carol Springs is a lovely town full of lovely people that helps each other. Clara first befriends one of the girls on the group named Jean Collins. While they were sorting out things up in the attic, Clara found a battered notebook that was covered with dust under a pile of other things. After having time after the house finally looked like a home to live in rather than a storage place, Clara decided to share the notebook with Jean and they chose to only read the notebook when they were together. They found out something about the notebook and they were drawn to finish reading it. As they neared the end things between them started to tangle up with emotions that were lurking behind other feelings from the start and the two girls find themselves somewhat in a situation barely familiar to what they've read.
