“Alright I will play for you so I can lift your spirits.” I said and they were overjoyed.
I tried to check which keys are working and which are not before playing. It turns out the black keys are all working and some white keys from the left do not make a sound anymore. I started playing a piece I know that only includes black keys and a little white. Having the sharp notes, it was like a kid song and they all enjoyed it. Light, playful and carefree is what the song means. Just like childhood!
“Wow.” After playing I noticed that I have brought so much attention. People are starting to crowd up and so I have to leave the children. I noticed that there were coins tossed by the people who watched me and I was happy that they liked it.
“How did you do it, Miss?”
