Chapter 1
“ Rider…. Can’t you walk fast? “ Drake spoke in a breathless tone. They were both running all drenched in sweat.
The Drake was a few steps faster than the Rider, they were close to entering the huge Door of the knight’s Mansion.
It was a beautiful yet scarier place for most of the people and is situated away at some distance from the city. The place is quite silent and has many secrets in it. It is a five-story Mansion and is all black in color.
The sun was about to rise above, and they were afraid that their President would rebuke them again.
They were blaming each other for not being able to wake up on time. It's their everyday story. These young boys are not like their President, who is very punctual and tough when it comes to the routine.
Rider and Drake are 20-year-old young boys who have been living here in this enormous and extended mansion along with their President. They were first living in a knight’s orphanage and then moved here knowing that their President needed them. He was just like an elder brother to them, all strict and profound. But he has limits and whoever tries to cross them gets disciplined in return.
The two young boys were running furiously inside the mansion, knowing where they would find him at this hour.
It was so dark, all the lights in the room were off but the two huge frames on the wall were still shining bright in the darkness.
The pair of Light Greyish orbs were looking at them, standing there silently. He was looking so attentive and dangerous at this moment. Every morning before going on a walk with his two boys, Ashton comes to this room.
He comes here to recall everything that has happened to him in the past. These two pictures are not just pictures, but they mean the whole world to him.
He was looking at them as though he was talking to them through his eyes.
“ It's your House Dad, no one will come and drag you out of here Mercilessly…., ” Ashton was in his deep insights. He was lightly tracing the picture of his Father with his fingers as though pleading him to come out and comfort him.
Tomorrow is the day of his parent's death anniversary and he was feeling the same pain that he had felt for years when this day arrives.
Ashton was 15 years old when the world took everything he had from him, including his parents. He was thrown on the streets and has survived hunger as well at times. It was the time when this young teenage boy learned to use a gun. It was the time when it all started and he joined the dangerous gangs.
What happened to him when he was only 15 years of age took away all the innocence and kindness from him, making him the man he is today.
Today he is the cruelest known Mafia king. He is the ruler of the underworld where nothing happens without his permission.
Ashton came out of his deep thinking when he heard a knock.
He was standing shirtless and the lion-faced tattoo that was covering his chest at the front was becoming more attractive as the sun's rays started to fill the room.
Knowing who could be knocking on the door, his lips curled up in a dangerous smile. He was looking completely different from the person he was a moment ago. A sort of evil energy has gotten into him, making him more Demonic and Dominant.
Ashton is not an easy man. He has a very complicated personality. The pain he has suffered has made him the animal he is today. A good-looking and handsome one in the mafia world.
Ashton walked closer to the door and directly opened it without saying anything. He was going to teach them a lesson today that would be very helpful for them.
As the door opened, both boys were standing there looking stunned. They were not as tall as Ashton.
Their president was standing there shirtless instead of being dressed up.
“ Aren’t we going on a walk ..? “ Drake asked, looking into Ashton’s eyes, trying to act innocent.
Ashton quickly grabbed the ear of both of them at the same time and twisted it by applying pressure.
“ Ahhhhh…., ” they screamed together, looking at him all aghast. They were thinking that they would get scolded like always, but it looks like today Ashton has something different for them in store.
“ Today you will see what happens when someone stops taking me seriously……, ” Ashton spoke loudly, giving them a scarier smile. He has got a heavier voice. Every word that comes out of his mouth roars like a command.

“ Catch her Peter….., ” Lucy shouted while slightly coughing in between.
“ God what am I going to do about this girl….., ” Lucy spoke in a feeble tone.
Lucy is almost 60 years old and is becoming wimpy as well. She is not able to run as far and catch her Princess now.
Her Princess is all grown up, Lucy is too old to match her faster pace now.
Lucy was amusingly looking at Belle who was running ahead, teasing Peter on her way. She was giggling with joy and was running fast on the green land. Peter is Belle’s friend and lives nearby in the neighborhood.
Belle and Peter are age fellows, they are best friends and partners in crime. They both study in a small school that is also situated in the neighborhood.
Tomorrow is Belle’s 18th Birthday and she was very excitedly going to invite her friends for a celebration tomorrow.
But Lucy, on the other hand, was feeling the same guilt she had felt for years when Belle's birthday arrived. Sometimes the guilt fully absorbs her in it and she gets more sick. All her life she had just lied to Belle, and now it was getting unbearable for her as she was getting fully consumed by this guilt.
But what would happen if Lucy tried to tell Belle anything?
Will that animal spare her easily?
And will Belle be able to forgive Lucy for this?
All these questions start to appear in Lucy’s mind wherever she thinks about it.
Lucy came out of her thoughts when she heard the horrified voice of thrashing clouds. She got concerned when Belle was nowhere to be seen around.
Lucy was standing at the door of the small hurt-like house. She was holding a stick in her hands for support.
Drop after Drop started to fall on the ground, making Lucy more concerned and restless.
Belle is grown up now. Besides being energetic and smart, she is very beautiful as well. This young girl has lots of potential in her and is very good at academic activities. Lucy is now too aged to handle her.
Sometimes Lucy thinks that Belle would live differently in those modern cities and houses where she belongs, but there was someone who would not be very happy with it. Someone who wants Belle to remain hidden here in this miniature place.
