Last night, after Alex's friendly reminder, I decided that I would also apply to a few other places I found had open positions online. There is an assistant bookkeeping position open at a small clinic. There is also a hostess position in a lounge. The bookkeeping position is more my speed, but the hostess position has flexible hours. This way, if Alex tries to give me a position at his office, I can decline and still have something to fall back on. Either way, today should be a very productive day. I'm nearly ready and I have about ten minutes to spare. Walking down the stairs, the house was quiet.
