The girl carried Ashley and headed toward the exit. After hearing his question, she looked back at Gabriel with a complicated look. "Yes, it's them... What about you? What will you do?"
"Just go! Forget about me!" Gabriel barked. "If you don't leave now, we're all done for!"
The girl hurried away without turning back. Gabriel stared at Ashley until she disappeared, smirking bitterly to himself.
"Oh, Gabriel, when did you become such a hopeless romantic?"
