"Gabriel?" Kaitlyn's voice had a teasing ring to it when she answered the phone.
"Busy man, why are you calling me out of the blue? Something up?"
"Kaitlyn." Gabriel was tense as he thought about Steven, still unconscious, his brows knitted together. "Have you ever messed with my phone?"
"What?" Kaitlyn's cheer vanished in an instant, and her laughter froze.
"What are you talking about? I... I don't understand what you're implying."
Gabriel weighed his words carefully. "My phone has software installed that can recover deleted call logs, and I've just retrieved some records."
Kaitlyn paused, realizing her interference had been discovered.
"I did pick up a call from some manager once when you were busy. Are you interrogating me for that?"
